I just ordered the colors - serum and coverage, because I'm curious (but lean toward wanting the serum more I admit).
I also got the high spreadability primer (the one in the dropper, I have the one in the tube and do like it), and Niacinamide
I've had the 30% AHA and 2% BHA, but I confess I've been to wimpy to try it. I had a sample of the DE Baby Facial that's similar and it kind of upset my skin - not like a reaction, but my skin got rougher/thicker. I use differin so it might be too much for my skin? I'm loving the 5% Lactic though.
ETA unsure about the right colors, I made two orders. I have problems. LOL. I also got the buffet.
I ordered the serum in a couple of shades and will order the coverage if one of those shades matches. I'm also waiting for the marula oil to come back in stock.
Deciem said on Facebook that their website crashed this weekend due to high traffic!
I want to try the colours. I wear MAC Studio Fix powder in C4 so if you guys have any idea on which shades are the closest to that, let me know!
Yep, I was just about to start checking out when it went down. Luckily, I spent the down time researching additional products to buy when the website came back up!
I like everything, and my skin is definitely more hydrated.
Now that the warmer weather is here, I haven't been using the squalane oil as often. However, my allergies were awful last week, so my nose was dry and flaky from blowing it so often and the oil really helped heal it.
My only complaint is that the Buffet and hyaluronic acid make my skin feel a little sticky. I have to put it on as soon as I get out of the shower and let it soak in for a good 20-30 minutes before applying makeup.
Yesterday I placed an order for the foundations. I got one of each formula, in 2 different colors. And to get free shipping I added the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% and Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2%. I almost ordered the peeling solution, but chickened out. LOL.
I plan to get the 1% retinol after I finish the 2%, since my skin has been fine with almost daily use of it.
I also want to try the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, but it's been out of stock.
I finally tried the 30% AHA/2% BHA mask (which is arguably a dupe of the DE Baby Facial). I really liked it. The blood red is actually cool in my opinion. I did only apply for 5 minutes (max is 10). Unlike the DE one, it didn't leave my skin rough/inflamed? Very happy.
Like others in this thread, I think TO is just my new skin care company. I'm loving it.
Question: I got the alpha arbutin with HA as well as the plain HA. Should I not bother with both? I find them individually a little sticky and together VERY sticky
I just placed an order and was winging it. I have no idea if I picked the right things for me. I don't seem to have as much research time as I used to. I didn't get any acids because I am using the p50 pretty regularly. I have a tendency towards oily and acne prone with lovely beginning signs of aging as well.
I grabbed the Niacinamide and zinc Alpha arbutin + HA Rose hip seed oil Retinoid 2% Buffet

How do you like the p50? It was on my list of things to potentially try when I was looking for options with lactic acid similar to Sunday Riley

Bumping my own question, although I've stopped using both and am just using the AA/HA and I suspect it is causing me to get a few little breakouts, though I couldn't say if it's the AA or the HA. Can't say I was in love with it anyway so I may just stop using it.

I love it. On my second bottle. I do not like the 1970 version, not at all. But the brand in general has a cult following for a reason.
My Ordinary colors arrived today!! I will report back soon.
Oooh! Can't wait to hear your review. Did you get the serum?
Yes, the serum! First impression - I squirted it onto the back of my hand and the amount of product was way too much, so that didn't look good. Tried it on my face today - seems nice so far! I normally occasionally use Nars radiant tinted moisturizer so that's my comparison. The serum foundation seems drier, way less sticky than the Nars. Coverage seems decent. I used a beauty sponge to blend out the edges. I will have to wear it for a few days to get a better impression.

Holy cow. So my skin was feeling a bit better so I thought I'd try the Lactic Acid 5% & HA 2% as well as the Azaleic Acid (which I've done okay with). I can feel the burn! I hope it works out okay in the long run and I don't just turn non-stop red.

So, there's now "The Ordinary Support Group" on FB. I joined and it's cool. Lots of folks talking about what works well for them, order of products, etc.

Can you please post a link? It's not showing up on my end.
I got my (first) order of colors. Honestly? So lovely. The serum is so light, but still impressive on the coverage. Full coverage has a beautiful texture too.

I'm so confused by Vitamin C. I watch someone like Gothamista and she uses it in the morning but then someone else says to use it at night. Which is it?

This is what I've put together (via youtube, so you know, not a real education lol):
Many want vitamin C during the day to combat the sun (me including). Over a certain percentage (20ish), it also combats pigments (like the other does too, but this one for reals/extra).
Beauty Know it All on Youtube had a great Vitamin C discussion. I gathered the lower percentage ones are generally for day use, and the higher can be night for use (though you can do it either way). Almost like you don't NEED the higher percentage for day use, and if you want to treat pigments, putting it on at night is a good way to focus treatment.
Plus, for The Ordinary Vitamin C 23%, its just not going to play well during the day. Its gritty, its messy, its definitely a night treatment. (and for me it was like Gothamista said, where it hurt, and frankly, I haven't bothered after two times because apparently I'm wimpy lol. Nadine (beauty know it all) accepts it as the price of beauty ).
Also, I spent today watching youtube videos on TO to try to get layering ideas. I finally feel more comfortable. I parttially see why this brand is cheap, it takes some work (worth it to me, but I can totally see how not for all) to figure it out.
