They seem too good to be true. After lusting after a few products from Drunk Elephant and a few other high-end brands that are not in my budget, I decided to give The Ordinary a try.
Last night I ordered their Vit C, a Hyaloronic acid + Vit B, a caffeine solution for eyes, and an Alpha Arbutin solution (the main anti-pigmentation ingredient in Sunday Riley Tidal cream). Total cost (no shipping on orders of $25 or more) was $28.
They also have lactic acid, mild and strong (the main ingredient in Sunday Riley Good Genes and the discontinued St. Ives exfoliating pads), retinoids, and other powerhouse ingredients.

They are getting amazing reviews from UK Youtube people. I am planning on ordering a bunch of their products as mine run out. I currently am using Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. Just began so not sure how good it is. It's supposed to be fabulous for rosacea and good for skin texture.

Ooh, I almost got that and I do struggle with redness. Let me know how it goes.
I made an order. I got the 23% C suspension, which I still haven't worked into my routine honestly. I got the marula oil, and its really nice - I compared it to the drunk elephant version (its $72 vs TO $10), and while I do admit the DE is a little nicer, its definitely not enough for me to accept the difference. I also got the rosehip oil, and the reviews weren't lying when they said it had a strangely fishy smell lol.

I love that they give a guide on what to mix and examples of a skin care routine based on the issue you're having. I'll try and remember to do a review when I get my haul.

Which was only 40 bucks lol
I love the guide!
I am considering getting all of the stuff for dehydrated skin but getting 1% retinol instead of 2%. I'd like to add in the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% as well.

I love the Niacinamide. One day do 5% lactic acid, then Niacinamide and then Hyaluronic Acid. The next I do Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid.
We've been TTC so I haven't bothered with retinol. H is using it and I think his skin is looking better.
That's my evening routine (obviously with some cleansing and moisturizer/oil on either end). Mornings I generally just do HA and Caffeine with cleansing and moisturizer etc.
What does your H use the caffeine for? Eyes? What about you? I can't wait for mine to arrive.
Has anyone tried the Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%? I've stopped my Curology and if I combine this with the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I'll have a stronger version of my old RX with them. I've also got the Lactic Acid (should I do 5 or 10?), Marula Oil, and Caffeine Solution. I'm also eyeing the Advanced Retinoid 2% but we're about to start park and pool season and I'm afraid that even with sunblock I'll melt my face off.
I ordered several things from the pigmentation issues list: Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA, and Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA. I would have ordered the 2% Retinoid as well but it was out of stock. I am such a sucker for shit posted on this board.

I'm using it. Seems to be working with my skin though is a bit dry at the moment. I'm trying to figure out some good combinations.
greeneggs what was your Curology script? did you have any tret in yours?
No tret, Azelaic Acid 4%, Clindamycin 1%, and Niacinamide 4%. I spend a lot of time outside with DS so I have a probably unhealthy fear of retinols.
mrsukyankee, I have a lot of redness too in my nose and across my cheeks. Did the Azelaic cause the dryness or is it just a winter thing? I was planning on using it in the mornings since I do Vit C and E in the evenings.

I need someone to just tell me what to buy. I'm 36, but still deal with acne and have fine lines and some dark spots. I know pretty much nothing about skincare:-/

That's pretty much where I am too. I just bought most of the stuff from their recommended pigmentation issues regimen. The 2% retinoid was out of stock but I got Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, and Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. I also grabbed Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for more moisture.

In the morning, I do: rose water spritz buffet niacinamide hyaluronic acid
In the evening, I do: rose water spritz Vitamin C (in the tube) Retinoid Caffeine around eyes (sometimes) Rosehip Seed oil Natural Moisturizing Factors (sometimes)
About once a week, I swap out the Vit C/Retinoid for Lactic Acid. If anyone knows a better routine with these products, let me know! :-)
