I haven't yet tried the hyaluronic - I got nervous because I live I a dry area and YouTube made it sound like since it drew moisture out of air it can actually be drying for if there's not stuff to pull out. Now it's YouTube and I have not fact checked this. But it keeps making me put and take out of my cart over and over again lol.
All you have to do is put moisturiser/oil over it and then it won't dry you out. If you don't do that, then yes, it would.

Okay, Day One of the moisturizer and the high-spread. primer and they felt a bit heavy when I put them on this morning. The primer felt like the original Smashbox primer and I was not a fan of that primer.
It might take me some time to get used to this because FAB and the MAC primer seems to soak into my face pretty quickly.

Now let's see how the primer holds up today!
Interesting, I found the primer light (but I haven't used the smashbox one in years I admit, and I have been using the trader joes serum as a primer which is thick so... the issue is me).
I tried out the Retinoid 2% a few nights ago and it left me with a sore on my left cheek. It may have been that I went too heavy on application on that one spot so will try again once it clears up. Rest of my face is fine.
I really enjoy the Buffet. I've been using the "Botox in a bottle" treatment too (long name, can't remember it) on my forehead. Too early to tell if it has any effect but it's not irritating so that's good.
I think the only other products I'm interested in now are the toner, rose hip seed oil, and the cream for hyperpigmentation.

I'm getting used to the High-spread primer and the moisturizer! I don't think I'm going to buy MAC Prep and Prime anymore.
I want to slowly introduce the hyaluronic acid and the ascorbyl with Vit C (or whatever it is) into my PM routine and use those two instead of the Buffet. We'll see what happens.

You might try buffering the retinoid by mixing a couple of drops in your face cream and applying that every other night for a few weeks.
I don't why I find this interesting - it's business of course it shouldn't surprise me to learn they are making business decisions. They have a FB update on it that's almost a little defensive..... it's excited but also goes on about how EL is a big company with a great soul. It says TO won't test (and at this point EL is just a minority as I don't know how people feel when the parent company tests but the sub doesn't).

I hope nothing changes and I hope they continue to not test on animals. I really love their products. My skin seems to love the products.
I got an alert about the colours today and I was able to snag my shade in both formulas. Now we wait and I hope they make it just in time for my next trip.

mrsukyankee, did you ever get your colours? I got them yesterday.
The serum foundation is really interesting. It felt really light and made my face feel velvety soft. Really light coverage indeed though. Here's to hoping it lasts all day.

Nope, but my order history is showing that it's been fulfilled so I'm assuming that it's on my way.

Wow, it's shame it's taking this long. You ordered waaaay before I did.
I was just on the website, since I got an email that one of the items I wanted was back in stock. I noticed they now have a section for sun care and all the products say "coming soon" hmmmmm
I have a problem. I just placed another order because the glycolic acid toning solution is back in stock and I've been wanting to try it. So of course, I grabbed a bunch of other stuff to get free shipping.
Alpha Lipoic Acid Moroccan Oil (I really wanted the marula oil, but it's out of stock) High spreadability primer
I really should have gotten another buffet too, since mine is about 2/3 gone. That will have to be another order.
I placed an order last Friday and still haven't gotten a shipping notification for it yet. Do they usually take so long to ship things? I emailed them but they said it might take 3-5 days to respond.
Have you used any acids before? And what are your skin issues?
The buffet is supposed to be used twice a day every day. Think of it as a serum and put it on after active and before moisturizers. The caffeine is for undereye only and I only use it either at night or in the morning. Depends on when I remember and when I have puffy eyes. The HA should be put on in the morning under your moisturizer.
The acids should be at night first thing after cleansing. Start slow using only one of them every other day for 1-2 weeks. Then alternate them every other day for same time period. Then you can probably do daily alternating between the two.

Yes, I've used glycolic acids before, drugstore type stuff so nothing strong. I have early 30s combination skin. Not super sensitive, but I break out if I use anything too heavy. Occasional acne, but mostly I'm looking for lightweight moisture, smoothing, brightening, more even tone, anti-aging. I'm also TTC, so avoiding BHAs and retinoids (which I have also used and love).
Last night, I washed with Cerave foaming cleanser, then used the Lactic Acid 5%, then the HA+B5, then my Origins Ginzing mousturizer. This morning, I splashed with water, patted some of the caffeine under my eyes (I think I used too much, as my concealer pilled a bit), then the HA all over and my moisturizer all over. I was thinking I would do the LA every 2 nights for a couple weeks, and add in the buffet in the morning next week. Then in a couple weeks, add in the azelaic acid and alternate with the LA every other night.

the azealic acid is a weird one - its thick, silicone like feel to it. I'd apply at the end unlike how I would usually use an acid (pretty sure I read that from TO but it all starts blending together). I love LA (5%

I use the Azealic acid - I use it just after rinsing my face in the mornings or just after washing in the evenings. And then leave it for 15-30 minutes to "work" before applying everything else. I alternate with the lactic acid, which I really like - it's good on my sensitive skin.

TO says to use it after water-based serums. It seems odd having it placed at the end, and I try to let it sit a few min before adding a night cream, but i can still see a difference when I use it.
I resisted placing an order this weekend. I'm forcing myself to use up some of the AB acids that I already have on hand before I dive onto this bandwagon.
