A marine biologist. I remember having no idea what I wanted to do, but at school we had to watch these career videos for a unit we were studying. Marine biologist was one of the video choices so I ran with it.
I'm now a SAHM with a degree in Supply Chain working a part time job doing accounting. Pretty sure they didn't have a career day video for that.
A lawyer. I wanted to be exactly like Elle (in Legally Blonde). I actually kept that dream until my sister became a lawyer when I was in the college. Thank you sister for steering me a different direction.
A vet or preschool teacher. I actually did the preschool teaching thing.... but that is not my career any longer. I now work 1:1 with preschoolers with Autism, however I am an ABA therapist, not a teacher.

A PE teacher. I ended up doing social work. I worked as a foster care caseworker for while. I than was SAHM 8 years. I recently went back to work as tutor at an alternative HS. I really like the school and the kids.
I think I wanted to write novels still at that point, but it was close to that point when I caught the science bug. First it was forensic anthropology because I was obsessed with bones/skeletons.
I wanted to be an actress. By the time I was a senior in high school, though, I realized exactly how hard you had to work to have steady work, plus by then the idea of being famous and recognized everywhere seemed like a bad idea.
Now I want to be a writer! Still famous, but the kind that doesn't get you recognized.

I wanted to be a veterinarian.
I'm not sure when I let go of that. I ended up majoring in biology, worked in a few different medical labs before being a sahm. I am going to be starting back in the lab next week (and am totally nervous and excited about it).
