A lot is sold out already - including the brushes and the eye/cheek palette.
This made me so sad, and I told my husband. Who then showed me a "you're order has shipped" email from tarte. Apparently he wanted to surprise me, but I ruined it. Lol. I didn't even realize he knew about them, maybe I was talking about unicorn brushes in my sleep. I think I will keep him.

Sucker, I am. Just made a $150 return to Sephora then turned right around and spent $200+. FML. I am so loving Marc Jacob's eyeliners. And I bought a colored mascara too. Go KC Sporting!

I got a little fun money from my parents and bought a full-size Philosophy skin cream (lol, it feels completely extravagant to spend $40 on lotion) and the Bare Minerals posh neutrals palette, which I think will come in handy for an upcoming work trip.
I've hit 2K points now and I am going to take my sweet time deciding what I want. I looked at the TF peach palette, and it's pretty, but I feel like it's too bright for me to realistically wear it on a regular basis -- and I already have a ton of colorful palettes that I don't wear enough, lol. I'm really digging all of the matte liquid lipsticks that are out right now, but the selection at my Ulta currently SUCKS. It seems like everything except one or two colors are out of stock.
It's nice to have a point-splurge banked and ready to go. I like the anticipation.

I think my foundation, Diorskin Nude, is the cause of my rosacea bumps coming out. Sad. I loved it when it went on and I like how it looks but it's just breaking my skin out in rosacea bumps. Now I have to find another foundation that doesn't end up breaking me out. Boo!

I bought the MILK Cosmetics blur stick and I should have listened to some of you here...I definitely didn't find it to be anything to write home about, so I took it back. I'm going to stick with Hourglass Mineral Veil for now. I also got talked into the YSL Under Eye brightener, but I definitely didn't notice any difference, so I returned that. I went with the Benefit one, but grabbed the wrong one, so now I need to go exchange that.
I also ended up with the Anastasia glow palette and also the countour kit - I am loving boht.
I'm getting my eyelashes tinted tonight for the first time. I'm honestly just tired of wearing (and removing) mascara. I also think the daily wear and tear is bad for my lashes, so if it's not too harsh I think it will be good in the long run.

I think lash tinting is awesome for folks who have good but super pale lashes. It's something I would totally do if I was in that category.

I think I have pretty good lashes but tinting wasn't a mascara replacement for me. I think I just like a more dramatic look.

Yeah I'm not expecting it to look just as good as mascara, just to help a bit. Lord knows I get enough sample tubes from here and there to have on hand when I do want it.

Have you tried MUFE water blend? I've only been using it a few weeks but am a pretty big fan. I can use 1 pump for the coverage of a tinted moisturizer or build up coverage 1 pump at a time.
My Baby Foot came today. I need to decide when to start using. It's not clear to me if the foot molting begins ASAP, or will take a few days to start. Thoughts from those who have done it?

It takes a few days. I'm so excited for you!! I want to do it again!
ESF mine took almost a week to start. I thought it didn't work.
Speaking of not working, the lash tinting is super underwhelming. You can see it on my lower lashes a bit, but my upper lashes don't really look any different.

Brace yourself for some intense whining....I'm pretty loyal to ulta. mostly because I tend to use just as many drugstore brands as not, so it's nice to have both in one place. Also I hate going to the mall, but Ulta is next to costco.
HOWEVER. This birthday gift is some BULLSHIT. March gets a fucking deluxe sample of porefessional. WHO DOESN'T HAVE THAT ALREADY??? come on. April-May-June get a prelaunch deluxe sample of a new lancome mascara. That's so much more exciting! And sephora is giving away a choice of a 2 piece mini set from either caudelie or a tarte. STEP IT THE FUCK UP ULTA. I'm not even going to bother going to the store to get it. I have like 5 different primer samples rattling around my box-o-samples right now because I just don't use it enough, and even if I did...and this was my primer of choice - still it's like, "oh, well how utilitarian. thanks." It's the socks and underwear of the free makeup world.

That is a super shitty birthday gift. Ugh. You should go the first week of April and plead that you couldn't get to the store in time, and see if they will give you the mascara.
