bluelikejazz, I really like Lorac's Behind the Scenes primer. I have relatively oily lids, live in a humid climate, and my shadow doesn't budge when I use it. You can find it at Ulta.
bluelikejazz, I found that I need to switch up primers from time to time. UD will be great! Then, no. So I go back to NARS. Great! Then, no. Rinse & repeat.
Operation Baby Foot has commenced. We shall see. ::gulp::
I picked up GARNIER Skinactive Moisture Bomb over the weekend and I'm really liking that as a daytime moisturizer. It's a cream-gel and really lightweight. Perfect for summer. Once it ever gets hot in my area, I think I'll keep it in the fridge.
Placed my best Sephora order in a while. I grabbed the KVD Lolita blush/eyeshadow and Liquid Lipstick and they still had the Hourglass point perk. I also used a code for a Caudalie eye cream as I'm just about out of my Cerave so that was good timing. They also had samples of products I like but don't currently own so that was a nice bonus:)

love to hear what you think about Lolita. It's one of those items I can tell if it would be a great or absolutely horrible blush on me.

I'll post an update soon. I'm sure I'll be using it all weekend. I'm hoping it ships soon so I get it by Thursday.

I hope you get your samples! I've had THE WORST luck with samples being wrong in my last two Sephora orders.
Ditto pizzanight . In the last order I got, they told me when it shipped that they were out of the deluxe sample (with code) I ordered and I didn't get to pick something else. They were just- too bad, so sad. Assholes. I would have used another code if I had known.
I decided to wear a Bite lipgloss that I found in my collection but have never tried. the color is gorgeous, but the formula is so thick and sticky that I just can't. I'm not sure when I got it (don't think it's off), but it's a tiny little bottle, so I'm sure I got it as a deluxe sample or in a kit or something over the last year. I'm going to toss it. Sad.

The Prismatic gloss that came with the multistick set is thick and sticky as well. I'm not a fan.
I'm so used to wearing NARS velvet lip glide though so everything else is sticky to me.
veruca5839 , is it not as dark once it's on the skin? I saw it in Ulta and ran away b/c I figured I would not be able to use all the colors.
I tend to use a lighter hand with Becca stuff in general, but I feel like these colors apply a bit more sheer than I expected just looking at them in the pan. I've found them to be buildable, and they blend well. The bronzer shade works well for me; it's not too warm or muddy-looking for my skin's neutral undertone. The Beach Nectar highligher is really pretty! Overall I think it's good for warmer months when I have a bit more natural color to my skin.
I will say that the Hibiscus Bloom blush looks like almost the exact same color as the Pamplemousse blush in the Jaclyn Hill face palette, it just has more shimmer.

Fingers crossed lol. The only time I've had a problem with samples was during a pick 5 instead of 3 promo.

I LOVE the Nars velvet lip glide and somewhere in the abyss of my purses and makeup lies my Bound sample and the new Le Main Bleu full size I bought.
anyone have nars favorites to share? i just got 5x points from ulta! i had a sephora makeover this weekend and she used one of their blushes on me, so i think i might pick that up... anything else i need to consider? very fair skin, green eyes, i don't really need anymore eyeshadow but could be convinced, lol.

NARS Velvet lip glide if you're into lip stuff. It's the best!

The Murad advanced acne and wrinkle reducer continues to amaze me- well at least for treating acne flare-ups. I had a monster of a hormonal spot pop up and in 2 days of treating it with this stuff, it's basically gone.

So I got an email from ulta for a free Clinique lipstick and when I went in yesterday it was actually a full size chubby stick intense (no purchase necessary). It's really pretty and feels good on the lips. Ulta is really working hard to stay on my good side;-)
Am I making it up that Dermstore occasionally has 30% off promo codes? I have never shopped there before. Do they exclude any brands? DH is in love with that dermalogica daily superexfoliator but the $58 price tag for someone who could care less about skin care products is hard for me to swallow.

They do but never has anything I wanted been included. Tons and tons of exclusions.
