It's my birthday month too.  I have 5x points on Anastasia so I'm going to buy an extra brow wiz and try a new gloss from them so I can get all the extra points.  I'm also going to buy an extra cleansing oil, nyx setting spray, and splurge on the Buxom White Russian palette.

Update for the Lolita blush I'm wearing it on both eyes and cheeks and it's gorgeous. I'm pretty pale and I think it looks very natural as a blush but still pigmented enough for an eyeshadow. Blended out very nicely for both.

I got an Anastasia gloss a while ago using Ulta points. I really like it!! Not sticky and reasonably long wearing by gloss standards. Also the one I got is glittery but it's not gritty. Formula is similar to the NARS glosses but they are like $10 cheaper.

was just coming to talk about this.  i have 5x on NARS and 3x on everything until saturday.  was waiting to see what the wednesday beauty break was but will jump on this one.  i'm getting a blush (impassioned) and trying their smooth and protect primer.  it has SPF 50 which is great and seems to be new-ish since there aren't many reviews on it yet.  69 bucks, 478 points - only about a hundred away from 2,000!

I had a long overdue girls night on friday, and I brought my entire lipstick collection with me for the hang out and drink wine at my friend's house portion of the evening and proceeded to ruthlessly cull.

I got rid of about 50% of what I had.  Basically if I picked it up and couldn't even remember how it looked on or didn't immediately want to put it on my face to find out, it went away.  Still have probably 30+ assorted color lip products.  I sent my BFF off with the whole bag of culls to give to her makeup obsessed 16 year old niece.  My friends, none of whom wear makeup as often as I do were all like, "HOW DO YOU HAVE THIS MANY???" 

ummm...I just do, ok?  let's not talk about it.  You guys don't even KNOW how much worse this could be.

I also am sitting on 2000 ulta points, so new lipstick!?  I still don't own any MAC.

I'm wondering if this will be more like the Nars Velvet lip glide type consistency? Sounds kind of like it. If so, I'm down for trying it. I'm not into the matte finish liquid lips at all.

I'm building my shopping carts at Ulta and Sephora to take advantage of my birthday. I currently have 7 lip glosses/lip sticks in my cart, plus the set of Buxom nude minis. This is ridiculous even for me, yet I don't want to kick any of them out of my cart.

I feel like tarte maneater mascara does not get the love it deserves. I bought it during a beauty steal and it has become my favorite mascara. I go back to my ysl or Dior mascaras and find myself disappointed.

I went through a bag this weekend and found some blotting sheets that I had forgotten about. I'm usually a dry girl, but when the heat is over 90 degrees and it's humid AF outside, my nose will get shiny around 3pm. I just sat at my desk and used a few blotting sheets to remove the un-intended shine from my face and went through maybe 5 sheets. Is that a lot to use? I feel like I need a fresh sheet per area. Am I doing this wrong?
