I want to try that new Lash Paradise mascara that's getting great reviews. I haven't been able to track it down yet.

I bought the UD Naked Smokey Pallette while it was on sale at Sephora. I don't love it. The bone color has a lot of fall out. Whiskey doesn't blend at all. I'm going to give it a few more tries, but I think it may have to go back.

peachy, I'm wearing lash paradise for the first time today. It was hella wet, but I kind of expected that. Jury is still out.

I was surprised by the plastic packaging? I mean it's substantialish plastic but definitely not as nice as the others.

Is anyone going to the Sephora event this weekend? I got a few emails that before the store opens, they're doing a Rouge fall preview. I'm going, but none of the upcoming releases are exciting me.

I'm going. I did one before (another city) and it was nice if just because it was peaceful.

I like the magnetic closure this packaging has, but I'm not sure about the plastic.  I'm afraid that if I drop it once it's done.

I signed up to go, but I've got a class at the gym that goes until 9 am and the event ends at 10, so we'll see if I can make it.

I like the events because the store puts out tons of fresh testing supplies and gets everything super clean and organized. I don't really care about the new fall stuff, I just want to be able to look at all the lipsticks I don't need.

I finally ordered Baby Foot and I'm excited and terrified all at once.

My MU game is so lame anymore. I haven't been able to get it up to wear anything besides eyeliner, mascara, and blush for work. Womp womp. I need to start getting up earlier.

Does anyone use Chanel skin care? I just got some samples that I need to try.

At the Sephora event I think I'm going to pick up YSL lipstick in 70 Le nu. Like the enablers they are, Sephora had a Felix sample and now I want a full size. It's my never ending quest for that MLBB shade but I really think this one is it (clearly I say tha every time of course).

Sephora dropped some new 100 point samples including some nice looking lip products (bite, hourglass) for those interested.

I went to The Ordinary store in Sydney and it's a very neat store! I thought about buying an extra bottle of The Buffet Serum but they were out. The other Deciem products are fully stocked but The Ordinary shelves are bare bones. Also, they're pricier if paying in Australian dollars. Good thing I didn't run out but I definitely need to put in an order soon.

I have swimming at 8am on Saturdays, so unless they want me dripping around the store and smelling like a pool, I'm not going. I liked it better when these were in the evening.

When a few people on here were saying they haven't been able to find it, I went online to Target and they had it available for in store pickup at my local store. It stated there was only 2 left, and I know they will often not really have it when the quantity is so low and then cancel the order... but I ordered it yesterday and got the confirmation the my order was ready right away. I'm going to pick it up on my lunch break in a bit.

I went to the store yesterday meaning to pick up the lash paradise and somehow got my wires crossed and got a different kind instead (Feline something-or-other?). I didn't have cell phone service inside so I couldn't google it, and now I have this mascara I hate and it's all gloopy. . Trying to find the receipt now to see if I can take it back.

Don't buy the L'Oreal feline noir mascara. I'm so mad at myself!

I'm going to stop trying all the products.

I've been traveling and used the same products in the AM and PM (Eradikate face wash, OH Truth serum, TO Buffet and FAB Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer and FAB eye cream) and my skin is clear as ever. No hormonal cystic acne either. Hoooray!

I still want to try more The Ordinary products but I think I found my HG skincare stuff!

I attended the Rouge Sephora event this morning. It sucked. The fall preview was tiny, there were no samples, and most of all, the promised gift with purchase didn't exist. (Apparently the west coast didn't receive any).

This is clearly reaching a my fault for still shopping as much as I do at Sephora and not switching to Ulta like everyone else.....

Mine was OK. I like that the store isn't crowded and it's so easy to grab a sales person. They told me there was a shipping problem with the bags. They gave me the samples that would have gone inside it and told me I could come in next week to get the bags. The samples were higher end stuff, a Kate Somerville deluxe sample, two glam glow treatments, and a few other things.

I can't quit Sephora because they sell too much stuff that's not at Ulta, and Nordstrom is way too far for my liking. I think I've got about $350 left to spend for the year to make Rouge again.

This is my ultimate problem and why my threats are useless. Most of my brands are just carried by sephora. 

Oddly, they offered no samples. I did send an email to complain to Sephora, that literally emailed back to say check with your store about the event gift with purchase. Canned not responsive answers like that drive me batty - I DID CHECK WITH MY STORE THEY DONT HAVE THEM. I know its useless, but I emailed back that was not an acceptable answer and an apology would go farther than not reading and responding. 

I called my store and they are working to get us the bags later and they were super nice and apologetic - even though its not really their fault (I called really to ask where I could register my complaint with corporate, because really, it wasn't fair to the store they are blaming them). 

In other news. Im now too invested int his. LOL.

I've been aiming for a more natural look skin-wise, but still want to look fresher. I figured out a great method:

First I apply Skinceuticals tinted sunscreen. It's about $34 at medspas and super thin and not greasy at all. Then I apply a long inverted triangle under my eyes and blend with my beauty blender to help with undereye circles and to look fresh-faced. Then eyes and lips however I want.

I'm 40, and I think it makes me look younger and fresher than a full face of foundation.

I need a new eyeshadow primer. We just moved to a very humid climate, and my UD primer is suddenly very greasy and grainy.

Ulta is now selling MAC, but I'm not sure if it's in stores yet.  Anyways, my favorite primer is the MAC paintpot in painterly.
