My birthday was yesterday and I am annoyed that Ulta hasn't sent me my birthday email yet. Get your shit together, Ulta!

But of course I went shopping there yesterday (on DHs dime) and grabbed another Tarte Maneater mascara and eprouvage leave in conditioner. Then they started some summer sale online today and I spent another 100 dollars. Grabbed a Sebastian shampoo liter (love penetraitt shampoo and conditioner), tarte eye cream at 50% off, and pretty much all of the socozy products. I love socozy for my kids, but don't like the price. Most of the brand is 50% off right now for some reason. I had forgotten about the double points during your birthday month, so I am now about 100 points away from 2000. Score!

Doesn't anyone else like tube mascara? I always wear it on my bottom lashes bc it does not rub off. I wear it on my top lashes if I'm swimming or having a long day outside. Anyway, it looks there is a drugstore kind now: Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara. I'm going to pick it up at target tomorrow bc it's on cartwheel.

I also got one of the new Chanel single eyeshadows. They are pricey, but really nice.

I used to use it on my lower lashes, but removal became tough and I ended up with a lot of broken lashes.  I switched to PUR and no smearing or issues with removal.

I've never used tube mascara but I ordered the Revlon one along with my Target Beauty Box.  Delivery by next Wednesday!

Thanks for the rec! I've never used anything from PUR, but always wondered about it. I've been using tube mascara on the bottom lashes for years without problems, thank goodness:-) I usually just wash it off in the shower in the morning instead of when I wash my face at night and it comes of easily.

I always use a tube mascara on my bottom lashes and it keeps me from getting "raccoon" eyes. Every brand I've tried is pretty much the same, so I'm hoping the revlon one is the same too. I use regular mascara on top bc I like more volume than tube mascara gives.

I LOVE tube mascara. I've been using Trish McEvoy's for 10 years. Every time I switch, I go back bc I can't stand the raccoon eyes.

My Ulta order arrived with my Mac lipsticks. I'm in love. I was a little nervous that Coral Optix would be too orange, but it is stunning, and I actually do not have anything remotely close to it in my collection. Also secretlyevil - thanks for the Flat Out Fabulous recommendation. Such a fantastic shade. I am set for summer.

Looks like Lorac is bring back the Mega Pro 3 to Ulta and their website on the 5th. It's a really good palette if anyone wasn't able to get it last year.

kristie , My birthday is today, so I was highly annoyed that I didn't get an Ulta birthday email when everyone else can seem to send me one on time. Someone at Ulta apparently fell asleep on the job.

I like tube mascara, but I love the volume of the Lash Paradise mascara more. It doesn't smudge on me unless I start rubbing up on my lashes.

I have to brag on my DH. He got me the KVD Alchemist palette and I actually really love using them as shadows. He did good and didn't spend an absurd amount of money on me.

I got Saucey! It's the one that a warm red with a metallic finish. I was trying to decide which shade to get because so many of them kept calling my name, but I went back to look at that shade in particular over and over again! If I really end up liking the formula I'll probably pick up several other colors.

I grabbed this one too. I think I'll use everything. I have a full size of the John Frieda frizz cream and I really like it to revamp my second day waves, so it will be good to have one to keep in my gym bag. I was also just thinking I need some more headbands to keep my bangs out of my eyes at the gym or when hanging around the house (I'm growing them out and it's annoying!)

YesStyle is having a huge sale - just from poking around a bit there's a Laneige gift set for under $6 and a Benton snail essence for under $11. I'm in a no-buy this month so I don't even know why I'm on there looking.

ETA: The Su:m37 rose cleansing stick is under $20 and the Touch in Sol double ended eyeshadow sticks are under $12.

I got an Ikea Helmer drawer unit for my birthday. I asked for it because it fits a small space in my bathroom and I thought it would be roomy enough to hold my makeup with room to grow. "I don't need an Alex! I don't have that much stuff!"

Um. It's full.

I haven't even purchased anything in several months!!

I just saw the new becca duochrome highlighters, umm I think I might need. I've been in a rut and haven't really wanted to buy anything, but I think it might just get broken.

stephm0188, pics? And if it makes you feel any better, it's not like you need multiple Helmers. I think the Alex is almost the size of 2 Helmers (just looking at pics). I'm a little jealous, but we don't have room for anymore drawers of anything in our bedroom right now, so most of my makeup is living in a fabric bin by my bed with the makeup of the month and most of my lip products are on top of my chest of drawers.

The light chaser ones? I got the something flashes champagne (or Bellini? I can't remember) and it's gorgeous. They're smaller than I expected. NYX also has really nice duo chrome highlighters, the lavender steel and I think snow queen are gorgeous.

I've waffled over what to purchase for awhile because I just don't have the space anywhere, but this fit nicely. I'm going to pick up some baskets to organize and then I'll post pictures!

Go check your account preferences at Ulta dot com. I searched through my email and noticed that I hadn't gotten an email from ulta since May 31. I just checked my account and somehow I was unsubscribed from emails.

Tricky ulta, real tricky. I sent them an email using the Contact Us link, so we will see what they have to say.

I made the mistake of watching a Wayne Goss review of the foreo acne clearing pen, so now of course I really want it. It's $149 at sephora. I have a 10% off code and a $25 gift card, but with some of our upcoming unexpected expenses, I really shouldn't.
