Day 3 of migraines. I feel so awful, the house is destroyed, and hubby can't take off to help. I want to go buy a new medicine to try but that means driving to the store which makes me nervous. I don't want suggestions, I've tried so many things. Some people from my church kept texting me different oil combinations to try and it was all I could do not to scream at them. They've obviously never had a true migraine if they think a little peppermint oil will cure me instantly. It would be super convenient to have a MIL I trusted to ask for help, but that is out of the question.
awick14 congrats on the house! I hope the financing all works out
amaranth I hope you get some relief soon! I agree that oils and other random things aren't going to touch a real migraine. I've tried it in desperation, nope!
Daycare called, again. Said E has a fever, again. Said it was 101. He was napping at the front desk when I got there (an hour earlier than his usual nap time). I woke him up to get in the car and he was happy and smiling. Get home and his temperature is 99.8.
I dunno. Thank goodness for my ILs. MIL already said she would watch him tomorrow so DH and I could work.

pooh8402 Sometimes we wonder about the daycare thermometers because they've said E had a fever but when we got home, it was normal. Weird. Hope it's back down for good and that he's feeling better!
I hope you get some relief soon amaranth. I've only had 1 really bad migraine before and it wiped me out. I can't imagine how hard it would be for you to function on day 3
amaranth- I wish I was closer to help you out. And I'm sorry you don't have ils that you trust to help. I know my mil is a pain sometimes but I'm glad I can at least get some help from her.
ewall- I'm glad you have somewhere to go to get away from the contractors.
@@@ Trying to see if some of the ladies at church can sit with the kiddos while I get my lady parts looked at tomorrow. Originally, I had a 6 week appointment set up for next week (I was trying to wait for) but this bright red bleeding seems to be getting worse and I panicked. Also going to see if they can fit me in earlier that day.

((Hugs)) MrsMB. I hope you find someone to stay with the kiddos. Praying the bleeding goes away soon and it's nothing serious. If you don't get someone to stay with the kids, can you take them with you? Not ideal I know...both boys had to go with me to my 6 wk appointment (and later two different IUD checks) and it wasn't too bad.

My dad bought me new running shoes in exchange for work I have been doing for his business! They came last night! I need to figure out a time I can go for a run!

They were able to get me in much earlier that day. Because of that, I'll just have little man with me.
Yeah, it would have been doable. I'm glad that it's worked out this way though. I think I'm just thinking back to when L had colic and was screaming the entire time....bless her. She couldn't help it, I know.
Plus, I really think this may end up being a more complicated appointment versed just the 6 week appointment. Hopefully, it's an easy fix though. I just know this is OFF from the usual pp "stuff"...and I have been watching this one area near the tear for weeks.

amaranth- thanks! I just did 4.16 miles with the boys! My goal was 2.5 miles but I just kept going! We ended at a park and are now walking the mile back home! They will eat then nap and I plan to shower and rest!
