Definitely! I use Panaway for smaller areas of pain, but I would have to bathe in it for it to help right now. lol.
I'm so used to facebook's ability to like posts in multiple ways. This is just one example of where I went to use the laughing reaction, but it doesn't exist on PB.
Totally random: Something happened with my wedding rings that irritated my finger. I've had them off for 5 days now. I feel naked. Hoping my angry skin clears up soon.

I don't feel like adulting today. H wants me to work with him tomorrow but I may tell him no so I can get my errands done early in the morning, do some housework and then watch Disney movies the rest of the day. Maybe even have a glass or 2 of wine.

I had this happen last year, I think when I was still pregnant with L. I tried taking my rings off for a few days, it seemed to heal, put them back on and it would do it again. I am not sure what finally worked (time, losing the pregnancy weight, weather change) but I don't have it anymore and haven't for awhile now.
wineandcheese- I haven't bought new running shoes in years. I used to be good about replacing them once I ran 300 miles or so but since I quit to SAH I haven't really had the money to justify buying a good pair (I have bought a couple cheap pairs from costco since I haven't really been running much, mainly walking). I happened to be wearing an old pair of running shoes with my dad last week when we walked (because I wore holes in all my flip flops which is what I normally walk in...I replaced those last week since they are cheap!) and he was like "you have been doing a lot of work for us, let me buy you new running shoes" (he has been insisting on paying me for the work but I really don't want to do that, whole mixing business with family issues).
luv2rn4fun I love getting new running shoes. I really want to get back to running after the baby is here.
The dryer guy has already been here. Luckily it sounds like a fairly simple fix, but they have to order the part. I'll be without a dryer for another week or more. Thank goodness the IL's live close!
Thanks all. Of course the doc made me feel like an idiot. I may pm pooh8402 later so I don't annoy y'all with my details. But she had reasons for all the stuff I was seeing. It was just bizarre to me. But good to know I'm ok!!
Well fuck. This is literally the worst summer. My dad had a stroke. A mild one apparently and he should be released tomorrow ish. And honestly, it was a matter of when, not if, for him. But hell.

((Hugs)) pooh8402. How scary. What is his long term prognosis? I hope things start looking up for you...you have had a lot of hard things happen lately 🙁
suzv- so sorry you are so sick, especially with school just starting and having to care for J. I hope you heal quickly. ((Hugs))

Parenting win...I got C to eat peas by referring to them as "green balls" (he gets yummy "red balls" at Yogurtland so I am guessing he thinks they are some yummy treat 😀 He also had a successful poop in the potty, which has happened like 3x in nearly 2 months. Today has been good! Parenting has gone well and I even got a lot of our house chores done and a long walk! And we are 1.5 hours away to bedtime, which DH will be home for most of the dinner bath and bed chaos!
luv2rn4fun, long term looks good. He needs to do physical therapy, so we'll see if he actually does it... honestly, what he really needs to do is stop smoking.
Well some of you saw that we have another wild fire in our area. It's about 20km from the city. 😞
We also got horrible news for the home inspection on the property that we loved. We have decided to walk away and look for something else. I am sad but after reading the report I could never allow my daughter to be exposed to living there and that helps me feel a little better about the situation. (There is standing water in the crawl space that smells like urine, and there's been no rain in 3 months. The insulation in the floor joists is so wet it's falling off. We would need to do air quality tests, and remedy the damage before we moved in and that would be $$$, and the crawl space is "limited common" property, so we would have to get the strata to agree to fix it at the strata's cost, which won't happen. Those are just the tip of the iceberg.)
awick14, that sucks! I hope you find something else you love
Poor Corpus Christi is about to get slammed with this hurricane. We are watching the coverage and have checked in with a few friends we still have there. We were so lucky we never got any major storms while we lived there.
awick14- so sorry about the house and fire near your ILs. You guys just can't catch a break lately 🙁 Praying you find another home you love...my parents had a bad inspection report on a home they loved (without a ton of money put into securing the home better it could have fallen down the cliff) and walked away. Now they have their beautiful dream home and it all worked out for the best.
