1.) What was your "home board" on the nest? When did you first join? LGBT Parenting on TB, and Photography until we got sick of TB and started a private board elsewhere. I joined TK in 2006. I also lurked a lot on P&CE starting way back when it was E08 until TN got blocked at work. I've posted there a handful of times over the years, but I really mean a handful of times and I'm guessing none of the regulars except for twotrue have any idea who I am.
2.) If you're comfortable sharing with a bunch of internet strangers, where do you live? Ohio.
3.) What's your J-O-B? HR, mostly payroll processing.
4.) Married? Kids? Yes, married with one kid. TTTC a second for the last year and a half. Sigh.
5.) Hobbies? Photography.
6.) Political affiliation? Registered Democrat. I've voted for some Republicans locally who supported gay rights and had a platform I agreed with (or liked better than the alternative), but I can't bring myself to seriously consider voting for a candidate who would actively vote against my rights.
1.) What was your "home board" on the nest? When did you first join? Never really had a "home board". I first joined TK in January 2005, right after getting engaged. Jumped over to TN sometime in 2006, I think.
2.) If you're comfortable sharing with a bunch of internet strangers, where do you live? Northern Virginia
3.) What's your J-O-B? Wedding planner
4.) Married? Kids? Married 6 1/2 years; two boys (4 & 2).
5.) Hobbies? Hobbies... I've heard of these... I don't have much time for hobbies these days, sadly, and I really miss that "me time." When I do manage to do something hobbyish, it's usually knitting or sewing. I guess you could say that cooking and baking are hobbies too -- I enjoy them a lot -- but they don't feel much like hobbies anymore since I do them these days to keep the family fed. Before the kids I enjoyed biking a lot, and I look forward to having time to get back into it someday. Same with reading.
