I was just starting to post more on the book club when the changeover happened. I joined in 2010 but hadn't been to the boards in a while until early this year, when I started looking at the bump. At that point, I started posting on TN.

Parenting on the Bump, but started there when it was on the Nest. Joined the knot in 2003, I think.

metro-Detroit. I could try to hide it, but then I'd start responding to Detroit posts with too much gusto and give myself away.

1.) What was your "home board" on the nest? When did you first join? I was a dirty lurker on the nest, posted occasionally on TIP and PCE, but my job and schedule don't allow for a ton of nesting. I've lurked more than I'd like to admit, though, but it's hard for me to post every day during the middle of the day.

2.) If you're comfortable sharing with a bunch of internet strangers, where do you live? west coast

3.) What's your J-O-B? I'm a freelance musician, violinist, guitarist, violin teacher, working on my graduate degree in music performance.

4.) Married? Kids? Engaged, planning to be married next year.

5.) Hobbies? Everything music-related, obviously, especially if it isn't something for an actual job, lol. Also, reading, crafts, playing basketball, dining out with FI, shopping at thrift stores, debating.
