I placed both an Ulta and Sephora order w/in the last 24 hours. I'm in a spending mood, and was looking for fall clothes but everything I tried on over the weekend was blah and made me realize I need to lose 10-15 lbs before I buy anything. So, makeup it is! LOL.
I'm starting to think the new bb cream I switched to is oxidizing on me. The last few times I've used it, I look a little too dark after a few hours. Not sure if I'm using too much tinted powder or if it's the bb cream.
*sigh* Why does Dr Jart have to be so expensive? If it were $15 or less, I wouldn't be looking for a different one.

I took doxycycline for 10 days and my chin acne cleared up and my skin actually looked so good. Woke up today and I can feel two cystic acne under the skin on the left side of my chin. It's probably because I've been eating cheese. I'm so sick and tired of this constant battle with chin acne.

Ugh, sorry.
I am not a dermatologist of course, but I have to take doxy every year for a chin skin condition, and I have always had to take 4-6 weeks of it. Maybe you didn't have a long enough course?

I think so too.
I have to talk to my doc because she gave me a 30-day supply with refills but the directions says take 1 a day for 10 days. She did say we'll see how it works and hey, it worked during those 10 days.
I woke up with a couple on my forehead this morning. OMFG.
I'm not supposed to be ordering anything right now for a variety of reasons so what do I do? I order the NYX earth palette along with a couple of brushes, 2 KVD studded lipsticks and skindinavia bridal setting spray
I just turned 36 and decided it was time to get serious about anti- aging stuff. SO I ordered PC's retinol and dark spot treatment. I have been using for less than a week.
I surprised at what a difference I am already seeing. I can't even describe what it is. My skin just looks smoother/healthier. My H even asked me out of the blue if I was doing something different.
And all of my dark spots from acne and sun are fading on my chin.
I am almost out of my Tarte foundation, so now I have to find a new brand (fuck you, Tarte). I don't have time to get to a Sephora to check out Fenty Beauty before I leave town, so if anyone wants to recommend a similar one that can be picked up at Ulta, I'm all ears.

What foundation from tarte were you using?
Their amazonian clay 12-hour with SPF. I like it but racist fuckery.
I'm hoping to find something more toward the semi-matte range but with similar coverage.

Right there with you, but I'm no help. I use the clay stick foundation and loooove it. It's almost gone, so I'm looking for a replacement as well. I have a couple other foundations to use up first (The Ordinary, which is okay but I'm not in love with it)
I might go back to MUFE, as I do like the ultra HD liquid. And they have a stick formula now.
hoteldwellerpersa - Actually, I think I may be getting my racists confused. It was L'oreal I was thinking of. They own NYX, Urban Decay and a handful of others...
Too Faced apparently released a Melted lipstick with the name 'Miso pretty', which, uhh...

Oh, whew.
TooFaced had the controversy about supposedly sending high quality products to YouTubers to review, and actually selling products from a different batch that weren't of the same caliber, I believe. I know Tati won't review them anymore, but I stopped watching her the day she defended misogynist and racist jefree star.
I've been trying to buy only cruelty-free products, and Estée Lauder is not. I didn't realize Too Faced had been sold.
I'm struggling with what lipstick/ gloss to bring with me to this conference. It's on the casual side, so jeans, graphic t-shirt, blazer, and jeans is my plan for clothes and eyeshadow mostly warm neutral.
Also, I have a lot more lip product than I thought. 7 glosses, 6 pencils, 4 lipstick, 2 tinted lip balm.
I got Botox today. 🙃 I've had it before but not in like 2 years. in the past, I've only done the frown lines between my brows. But I did a whole forehead workup today! I'm also coloring my hair today.

I really want a little Botox between my brows. This wrinkle from making my in-pain face just popped up within the last month and it's the first thing I see on my face now. How long does it last, 6 months or so?

With the first few treatments it often lasts around 3-4 months, but the longer you use it, the longer it works. Presumably because the muscles just learn to stop furrowing.
Have I raved about Madison Reed on here yet? I did it last week and I'm in love. No ammonia or nasty smells but more permanent than a demi-permanent. A few of my grays resisted the color, but the texture softened.
