Twitter tells me this is the link to get the document but the server is currently overloaded so I can't get to it. Posting it however in the event someone else can open it.

So far it isn't that interesting a read. General gist is the Carter Page's FISA warrant may have renewed improperly or based on biased information.
There is somewhat interesting stuff about Steel-FBI-FusionGPS. I think it might be helpful to read Glen Simpson's testimony about as it pertains to FBI contacts but there but I'm still not sure I see a scandal.
Overall Carter Page hasn't been a focus on Mueller so I'm not sure it really matters much.
so, I think if you already think the FBI is out to get trump, you're going to love it. I think if you already think Russia was targeting Carter Page for years and OMG we didn't have a FISA warrant on him until October 2016, you're going to roll your eyes.
So basically, I don't think it changes anything. It may give Trump leverage to fire Rosenstein, which is the most problematic thing in my opinion.
I was able to open it and can attest from paragraph 1 that there is a 0% chance that 45 read it. Too many big words.
Memo starts with shade thrown at the dossier and at Michael Isikoff from Yahoo News, as if Carter Page's trip to Moscow in July of 2016 was secret or did not happen? That is weird given we have seen video of the talk he gave on that trip.
Also says Steele was "terminated" as an FBI source for leaking to the media. Fusion GPS said in their testimony that Steele quit talking to the FBI after that NYT story that was titled something like, "FBI sees no links between Trump and Russia" right before the election.
In summary, this memo is low on content and high on bullshit. No surprises here.
nope, i totally meant 160-tweet thread Seth, but i couldn't remember his name for a sec.
i know a white guy who thinks he's the smartest ever is somewhere stroking out. better? lolol.
Eric Garland is the guy whose tweet about "the best prosecutors in the country vs guys who colluded via messenger" gives me eternal hope. And he's tweeting now too, but he's no Seth Abramson.
His (EG's) latest tweet is "the memo reads like you put all of Sean Hannity's tweets in a bag and then grabbed them at random to form paragraphs."

I don't even understand this. SO the big thing this memo says is that the FBI didn't tell the judge that the 4th renewal of this FISA warrant was a) made by a man that disliked 45 and b) funded as opp research for the Clinton campaign. I am sure all FBI informants leading to warrants are besties with the person they are giving information on.
I'm skimming through because I was supposed to be out the door twenty minutes ago but yeah, this is going to get eaten up by the Fox viewers.
I haven't read the memo and am not well-versed in Steele/Fusion GPS. But that statement, for example: is it one of those "material omissions" because the reason Steele said he was desperate that Trump not be elected because he thought Trump was compromised by Russia, and not because of any anti-Republican bias?
Because being desperate to stop what you view as a threat to the security of the country (i.e. a person who is in the pocket of a foreign power who might act in their, and against American, interests) and being desperate to stop someone because "Republicans suck" are two very. different. things.
That memo is dumb AF. It is just their conspiracy theories structured to give Trump cover for firing people at the FBI.
Also, I need them to pick a lane. Is Carter Page was an unpaid volunteer who attended one meeting? Or is he so critical that the spying on him was definitely a political hit job worth firing the entire FBI leadership over?
Like everything else that's been happening with this fuckery of an administration, I can't wait to hear alllllll about it from Trumpers. Who haven't read it. Who if they did, wouldn't understand a single word of it. Who will continue to cry about Hillary. Who don't understand a single thing about the intelligence community.
