UD Sheer Bruise (hate, hate the name.)

Love the color. Blotted once bc it was hella intense without any other makeup. It’s not nearly as sheer as other formulas.

Trestique matte crayon in Belize boardwalk. I like the color. It’s a pretty, dark berry, but I don’t like the formula. It seems patchy. I’ll probably toss it.

I’ve got a few from the past week. Got lazy about posting!

So rouge from Marc jacobs. This was the rouge welcome gift a few years ago and I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this is the first time I’ve worn it. I liked it.



Another Marc Jacobs. This was the liquid lip crayon that was in the recent Sephora lip kit. Night mauves. I love the name. It feels great at first but once it dries down it settles into my lines and isn’t as nice as the first hour or two. Won’t toss it but will save for short term occasions, not all day wear.




NYX soft matte lip cream in Ibiza. It felt very creamy going on and I wasn’t sure about the color when first applied. It dried down to a nice pink, though a bit patchy.




Bite sour cherry from the double ended stick they do at the holidays. Gold is the other side but I didn’t add that today. I love this formula and the cooler red is better on me than a warm red. This is one of my go to lipsticks to perk up an otherwise boring makeup look or quickly look ready for a night out.

This is what I've decided to keep, I know we still have some time left but I didn't have a ton to start with.

I'm not a lipgloss fan but my favorite formula here is the lancome juicy shakers, with the marc jacobs lip crayon coming in a close second. I'll definetly be grabbing the holiday, deluxe size trio at the end of the month. I also ordered a few colourpop lipsticks in some non-mauve colors.

Thanks! It and UD’s Trap Queen (will be coming up this week!) were the shades when I finally thought “huh, I guess I can pull off red lips!” I think I had been picking warm reds before and they looked awful.

I wore Buxom gloss in Kristen. This is the only Buxom gloss I have. Like the color, but the tingle is annoying. I will use it up, but won’t repurchase even though they spelled the name right. 😉

Really love this red (shows up as a pink/blue red on me) though it's a pain to keep "within the lines" when reapplying (which you can see above). I normally would wear this with a liner, but decided to not this time. I do like the stain that comes over time.

I don't think they still make this exact one but they have similar items. Clinique Pop Lipstick in Cherry Pop.

Nothing too exciting here. My lips were dry, so I went with Fresh Sugar in berry. I think I have many versions of this color. Basically looks like yesterday’s, but more sheer.

Yesterday was Too Faced Peach gloss.  I love the color and the feel, but hate that fake peach smell.  I can't decide if I want to keep it or not.

Mac Diva - matte, more red than Dark Side, more purple than Fire Roasted. Feels great, longevity is good.

I honestly have no idea what brand this is? It’s pretty old but doesn’t smell and still applies good.

The color is nude pink. It’s fine. And pretty predictable and safe. lol

Essence XXXL Shine lipgloss. The writing on the tube is worn off and I can’t figure out if the color is Red Blossom or Pretty in Hibiscus.

It’s raining so my lighting it terrible but I’m wearing my favorite ColourPop lipstick today. This is one of my few lipstick repurchases. Their 90s collection was so good.

Today was L’Oréal Infallible Paints in Spicy Blush. It’s ok. The formula has zero staying power, worse than some glosses.

Today is a 2 color day- you’ll see why in the pic below.

This is a deluxe sample of an ABH gloss I got for free from Sephora. I was expecting it to be a bit more sheer and not the dark hot mess that it is actually on my lips. The plum/brown color doesn’t translate at all, so this is going in the trash.

My lips are trashed and scabby and so dry, and I’m going to a hot, windy XC meet.

I’m wearing a fresh balm. Nobody needs a pic. Lol

Nothing Sunday or yesterday, since you guys really don't need to see photos in clear lip balm.  Today I'm wearing one of the Bite lipsticks I made in the lip lab.  I'm also uploading a couple photos of hope I'm storing my lipsticks for this challenge.  One basket is where i put them once I've worn them, the other holds colors to be worn.  Clearly i can keep going for a while.

Clinique Pop Matte in Blushing Pop. Got this with a Clinique GWP set. Goes on very smoothly, comfortable so far. Not super matte, so that’s probably why.

I need to reach for this one more. Ironically I forget about the lipsticks I keep on my vanity tray and just rummage in my drawer for something most days.

Urban Decay Nighthawk - a favorite fall / winter lipstick, deep warm brown with a hint of red to it. Wore yesterday alone with a UD ozone but I usually wear it with a red lip liner. It's comfortable and the longevity is ok.

My sister was astounded that I hadn’t heard of this company and promptly ordered me their one and only lipstick. They are expanding their line and do donate to causes depending on what the lipstick is representing. It’s actually a very comfortable liquid lipstick and staying power is nice.

ETA: the formula reminds me a lot of NYX's soft matte, stays around much longer though.

calico , I just trashed the same Anastasia one. In fact I went through a bunch her glosses I had this weekend that just don't work because they are so dark. They were all minis and I think I had bought them in a mini sample of hers. Not sure, but what a way to declutter a bunch all at once.
