Today’s lip is MAC Lipglass in Full On Lust. I haven’t worn this in a long time, but it’s a perfect low-key color.

Yesterday, I wore my Lord & Berry Crayon in Blush. It's boring. Looks like a few others I have. Not keeping it. I didn't even both to take a pic.

Today I paired my beloved Smashbox Cherry Smoke palette with UD's liar. It is an awesome peachy nude for me. Confession - sheer liar doesn't do it for me but the cream liar is awesome! (I repeat myself, it's that good). The UD cream lipsticks feel amazing, their staying power is better than most, not as great as some IME (so non-committal).

Pulled out my Hourglass Peacemaker. It’s a peachy nude. The formula is nice but I prefer Hourglasses Confessions lipsticks better.

Previous post: I tried a new lippy on Friday -it had been a Birchbox sample. It was AWFUL. Patchy, didn't feel nice, etc. CLE Melting Lip Powder in Red Cherry. I'm going to try it in a different way tomorrow and if it works, then I'll use it. The colour is really pretty.


I tried again today - it's a powder to tint formula. I put a bit on the middle of my lips and tried spreading. It worked better. But it still transfers a ton after it dries and it doesn't do much of a stain. I don't have a colour quite like it so will keep it and see if there is anything further I can do to help it along.

Yesterday was clinique black honey, which is so perfect.

Today is Bite in Honeycomb. It's a lovely nude basic.

WFH day but threw this on for you guys.

I wore the crap out of this when I got it but it’s been languishing in lipstick purgatory (aka, my vanity) for a while. It’s probably discontinued by now. Boo.

I used a mini Lorac gloss today and it was not good. It had a weird tingle that I don’t remember it having, and the smell seemed off the longer I wore it. I tossed it and all of it’s friends (They were a holiday set of something like 6 or 8).

9/26 lip is Bite Beauty Liquified Lipstick in Chutney. Love the color and formula. This is only a mini, but would love to have a full-size.

Wearing a favorite today, Bite Chablis. Seems like it’s almost gone. It looks like the color is discontinued. It’s not a unique color I guess. It’s not a unique color, I’m sure I have a close dupe already or will be able to find one.

ETA 2: AND it’s done as it was closer to being done than I thought. The little tiny nub just broke off. Well I think this is my first lipstick empty. Wooooooooo! I can’t wait until the empties thread.

Yesterday I wore a Marc Jacobs lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  I think it was a birthday freebie from Sephora.  I forgot to take a photo and I didn't like it enough to reapply for a photo.  Second confirmed toss.

Today I'm wearing Albeit lipstick in Claret.  I really like it because it's moisturizing, but it does wear off into a bit of that lipliner line look.  I'm keeping it for now, with the goal of wearing it more often.

Bite high pigment pencil in Pomegranate. This one leaves a stain on my lips unlike the other colors in the kit. Seems to “set” more than the other dark color. I think this is the best of the bunch - and I don’t consider myself a red lipstick person.

And today is the last Bite high pigment pencil I own - Rhubarb. Drier formula than the others. Like the color though! Will have to see if it leaves a stain behind - can’t remember.

Today’s lip is Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Laquer in.... pink social, I think. The print is so damn tiny that I had to use my phone to magnify the label.

I assume these are discontinued, since I picked it up at the Rack back in January. The formula feels great on the lips and the color is really pretty, but it applies patchy AF. I had to do 3 layers to get this photo.

I’m on the fence about this one, leaning toward tossing, but am taking the day to see how it wears.

I also tossed 2 other lipsticks this morning because they smelled off. An old UD mini and a Victoria’s Secret mini. I’m embarrassed to say I think they are each 6 to 7 years old. Taking credit for those declutters though!!

Today is Too Faced Gingerbread Man which looks like they brought back again this year. Love this for fall.

I didn’t take pics over the weekend. I was out of town visiting my husband and was mostly hiking and sightseeing. It was mostly balm dot com.

Today I’m wearing NYX butter gloss in cherry pie. I like it a lot. I did apply supergoop sunscreen gloss over it, so it’s a little more muted, but it’s usually not super extreme anyway.

Today I wore UD Vice lipstick in Ex-Girlfriend.  I love this one and it's definitely a MLBB shade for me.  I'm still thinking about yesterday's lipstick and trying to figure out if it was why I looked flushed and didn't love my makeup as the day wore on or of there were other factors.

Side note: has anyone dealt with redness around the lips like mine? Wondering if it’s from toothpaste or just an aging thing (sob)

centralsquare , I also have redness that I didn't notice until this challenge. I attributed it to always having my hands in my mouth every time I turn around and stretching the skin because of my invisalign and flossing a million times a day, but maybe it's not?

I have redness around my mouth too. I always thought it might be a slight reaction to lip products I use. Or just where my lip pigment runs into my skin and it’s just getting blotchy as I get older.

Anyways, this is Smashbox legendary lipstick in Fig. It was so dried out I had to fight to get it on my lips. Toss.

Decided on Friday that I needed a power lip (aka red) as a statement of support for women (I also wore black).  I love the colour on me but it doesn't last and it's tough to keep in the lines.  I'll keep it but I HAVE to use a lip liner, which I did today. No. 7 Moisture Drench in Soft Paprika and Sephora Lip Liner in Classic Red.

Yesterday I wore MAC Soft Pause. It's definitely too old. I thought it smelled okay in the tube, but once on my lips i could tell it wasn't great.  I used to really like this color, but clearly it needed to be tossed.

An original TF melted in berry, stuff is hard core and does not budge. The color is awesome. Lips are feeling a little abused today after wearing it yesterday.

UD comfort matte in 66 - nice simple mauve and staying power is decent. After yesterday’s melted berry, think I’m just going to go with a lip balm for the rest of the day.

Too faced sweet peach lip oil in tickle me peach.

I like it. It’s definitely not long lasting, but it’s a cute peachy color on me.
