A million years ago, I had a friend tell me that she'd hold onto my hope when I wasn't able to do it for myself. It's so, so hard to be where you are right now but there are a ton of people pulling for you.
Did you really get pregnant on transfer 6?? I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone else who did!
Yep, it was my sixth FET. It was my third pregnancy, but the one that stuck (was also PGS tested... The others were not).
This is incredibly comforting. The sample size of people who even do that many transfers is so small it’s hard to get a sense of whether it even *can* work after that many!

DW only did four (1 CP, 2 negatives) but we also got our take home baby from our first PGS normal transfer on our third IVF cycle. Crossing everything for you.

I feel like I hear tons of success stories on 4th transfers but I’ve only ever met a handful of people who have done 6 (and of those I think Kelli is the only one who took home a baby!) With my loss history I’m still not convinced PGS is the deciding factor which is part of why I’m so cautious even though it’s all looking good.
I also got pregnant after our 6th transfer. 4 of those cycles didn’t work so “only” two losses.
Not liking for your losses but also find this very helpful to hear!
I get it. I honestly don’t remember which protocol that last cycle was. We did 3 retrievals total and it was 13+ years ago so probably not relevant anymore anyway! They were the darkest of days.
Feel free to dm if you need a shoulder or have questions. The whole thing is a mindfuck.

My BFF told me that as well when we went through treatments. It was one of the best things I could hear.

@@@ I have a dear friend who has a 9 month old now from her 5th transfer. Fingers crossed you join that club!
So, uh, is betabase even remotely accurate? Because this latest beta keeps me on track with the twin median (I’m 200 over the twin median for 26dpo.)
There's a HUGE range of what's normal. Those betas are accurate in that they're what people report, but they're misleading because you really can't draw distinctions on singleton vs twin. Lots of people here have really high betas with single pregnancies.

I just went back to my numbers and at 20dpo I was over 1,000 more than the twin median with my second pregnancy and it was just 1. That's really common.
Yay! Came here just to check for your update! My betas were also seemingly twin level with my singleton, also a euploid single embryo transfer. Everything crossed for you! As an fyi I think I started having a good bit of crampiness and sore boobs in week 6 in case you feel that (made me nervous bc it felt like an impending period). Also normal if you don't have those symptoms!
Just last week my doctor said that symptoms don’t matter. Small gush of blood? Nothing to worry about, seriously. I’m crossing everything it isn’t more. Plenty of people have some bleeding and go on to have normal pregnancies. I know it’s hard to believe because that’s not your experience, but everything could be fine!

I’m really trying to hold onto that. But as you know everything is never fine for me (us) so it’s really hard! What might be normal for other people makes me fear the worst. It’s so hard to have faith in my body or in any of this.
I’m so sorry for the anxiety. I won’t give anecdotes in case they’re unwelcomed, but just know we’re all thinking of you ❤️ hoping for a great scan Monday
And I totally had twin level betas with my last pregnancy, to the point that my RE was also worried about twins (elective single embryo transfer), so she looked very thoroughly at my ultrasounds to make sure.
My dr felt early bleeding was more common in IVF (sch). I’m sure you know but I’ll say it again- bleeding in the first trimester is common and not indicative of any conclusion but I understand your fear and worry. I’m thinking of you.

Thank you and thanks to everyone who is thinking of me.
I am reeeeally hoping it’s nothing or an SCH. Thankfully beyond the blood on my pad this morning I haven’t had any spotting or so much as a pink tinge before or after, which I think is a good sign. No cramping. I’m nervous still but less panicked and hoping beyond hope to get good news on Monday.
