I had my first US with DS @ 7w5d and they were able to see him through my abdomen. Not amazing but enough to confirm things before they proceeded to a vaginal ultrasound to get more details and measurements.

Thank you for sharing that. I’m worried because it doesn’t sound like there is an option for transvaginal at their office if it’s needed. I’m stressed that doing the ultrasound this way we won’t get any good info and I’ll end up more worried than before. The good news is that having the appt tomorrow will establish my care with the OB so there is a chance that they could refer me to another imaging center to confirm things transvaginally.
The good news is I stopped bleeding after about an hour and stopped spotting 2 hours after that. I’m encouraged that it isn’t ongoing.
It is encouraging that the bleeding stopped! IIRC they did say there was some blood close to your cervix and you might have some more bleeding?
They did say that at my first ultrasound! But then at the second one they said the SCH was smaller and I was maybe out of the woods? Apparently I’m just overly confident again and the universe needs to give me yet another massive reality check. 🙄
I’m sorry for the stress and worry! I bet it’s just the SCH but I’m really glad you’re getting in tomorrow to confirm. I’m peeved at your RE for not seeing you.
I’m a bit surprised you are on EOD PIO. I was on daily PIO through 10 weeks, and I’ve thought of my RE as being on the laissez-faire side. Maybe ask about daily, if nothing else for your own peace of mind?

They put me back on daily now. I’m on twice daily endometrin, PIO and also did a semi-natural FET so I have a corpus lutem also.... 3 forms of progesterone is technically overkill and unnecessary but my body haaaates the progesterone drop so I think they’re going to keep me on it anyways now.
I bet it is just the SCH; but I am glad the OB was able to see you today! Report back. And know we are all here to support you no matter what--PGAL AND after IF is no fucking joke and the emotions continue to pummel you, so know we are here to take you through it <3

Good! If it makes you feel any better, after a two month reprieve, my MFM put me back on progesterone til the end, so I’m right there with you. Ugh, hate this stuff.

Babe is in there measuring right on track (a little ahead) and with a strong 164bpm heart rate. No one can really tell me what the gushing blood is about but I’m so relieved. OB could clearly tell I was neurotic so looks like I’ll have weekly ultrasounds as long as I need them.
Yes!!!! I have been frantically refreshing all morning.
I was also discharged from my RE really early (as soon as there was a hb essentially) and it’s definitely nerve wracking(especially with an SCH). So glad you’ll have the assurance of weekly ultrasounds!
YAY! So glad everything is ok. I also had gushing blood experiences and no one could explain why. I think it's more common than they like to say (especially with IVF). It's so stressful, but I'm glad they'll get you in weekly!
