Since this was just bumped, I'll post an update on my refund situation. It looks like it's finally being processed. On Friday my account went from showing $0 to the amount of the refund. On Monday morning it showed old loan balance + refund. On Monday afternoon it showed $0 again. Hopefully that means I'll get it in the next 2 weeks!
There are also rumors swirling all over the internet that Biden will announce some amount of blanket loan forgiveness this weekend. No details on if there will be an income cap, $10k or $50k or somewhere in between, or how it'll actually work. Also tremendously unlikely it'll impact private loans.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that gretchenindisguise - I would love if even a portion of H's were forgiven. Feels selfish to day that since I already had mine forgiven but we've for sure paid the balance on his loans!
My employer, a public library, is not listed as an eligible employer. I have uploaded my W2 and what documentation, I could. Any idea of how long it took them to verify and approve an employer?

Someone posted a timeline recently on the FB group and now, of course, I can't find it readily. I believe it was about 5 months for them.
Looks like another round of forgiveness went through! Check your balance friends!!
Ran off to check mine and my balance hasn’t changed. ☹️ Come on!! Fed here, consolidated in 2006, and have been a Fed since 2009, and made payments since 2006 - I feel like this should be easy!!

We received a refund! It was a hard copy check in my mom’s name to her address a little more than 2 weeks after forgiveness. All the payments were always taken from my bank account so she deposited it in my account today! $10k for payments from October 2017-March 2020!
The crazy thing is I think that loan was only originally for $60k and I’ve been paying on it for at least 18 years and I was “lucky” to have low interest rates. Low estimate I paid $65k almost entirely in interest, they forgave a little less than $60k when you factor in the $10k refund… I still have a few thousand left to pay off on a loan in my name but 🤞 broader SL forgiveness will help that.

My refund arrived today! It’s a month from when I got forgiveness, and for the amount I saw (briefly) as a pending payment in my FedLoan account. I’m so excited and grateful!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I am in complete shock - did my daily log in and got the message of 120 payments were made. The ED finally reviewed my husband's account and applied the waiver to his missing ACS/DLS loan payments from Oct 2007 to June 2012.
Here is his timeline - 10/18/2021 - Submitted PSLF to FedLoan 11/10/2021 - Letter saying loan application was received (FedLoan) 11/12/2021 - Letter saying employment was approved (FedLoan) 11/29/2021 - Letter stating that loans were being transferred to FedLoan from EdFinancial 11/30/2021 - able to create Fedloan account, but couldn't any account balance information 11/30/2021 - $0.00 account balance at EdFinancial 12/14/2021 - Welcome letter from Fedloan and when logged in, able to see loans and was able to see payments towards PSLF (Covid forbearance payments) 3/30/22 - payment count updated to 112 counted payments, 5 payments that don't have Employer Cert 6/3/22 - Trophies received - ED applied missing payments
Today was my day! Last week my ECF was reviewed and I had 2 eligible payments— January and February— the months from when I consolidated to FedLoans to when my ECF was signed. I knew I needed to wait for the DOE to send over my prior payment count. I checked FedLoan this morning and it was still showing only 2 payments. I’m not sure why, but I just checked 30 minutes ago and they’re gone.

Finalllllly my payment count is showing some movement. Yesterday it showed 111 qualifying payments. Today it shows 111 qualifying payments and 7 non-qualifying. Hopefully this continues!

Yayayyay!!
There have been a lot of DLS wins this week and I am here for it! I hope your time in trophy purgatory is short!

I am so excited and was in complete shock. I thought that we would have to his employer fill out the paperwork to get to 120 this month and then go through the reconsideration process. It looks like we will be getting 49 payments refunded.

Seeing the new posts prompted me to check again and I have my initial count!!!! Finally some movement, nothing was there even this morning. The letter in my inbox on FedLoan indicates that all four of the employers I submitted are approved, so now I’m just waiting on the updated counts from before consolidation. I’m honestly not sure if I will hit 120 yet, it depends on exactly how they are counting long forbearance months. But I should be darn close! I’m going to get a new ECF signed Monday to cover the past four months in case I need those.
