What is the pink dress Charlotte is wearing for Rock’s mitzvah??
HORRID, is what it is. So unflattering on every level.
I’m conflicted about how they kept Samantha in it. For one, the story itself, i felt like it had been years since they had seen or talked to her. Then, IRL, it’s pretty well known that Kim catrel and SJP don’t get along. Kim/ Samantha isn’t coming back - i feel like it’s a tease.
I guess if i didn’t know all that - I’d appreciate it.
I’m walking away from this season feeling like there was a lot of wasted storylines.
Yes! No way this ends well. Che is hot and exciting, but Miranda is going to end up heartbroken!
She really is acting like a teenager with no goals of her own, no sense of self, and no responsibilities!
And saying, OUT LOUD to Carrie, "It's important for me to be with you when you spread your dead husband's ashes, but ALSO just as important for me to sit at a taping of TV pilot" WTF. She's making the kinds of bad decisions I made in my early 20s. She's too smart for this, it doesn't fit her character at all.
Can they (every tv show ever) ever, just once, have an actor or actress who CAN sing, NOT do it in the show? I just really hate Che's character.
I don't hate Che's character but I hate the Che storyline.
I can definitely see why Miranda would be interested in Che, but the show gave us basically no basis to understand why Che would be interested in Miranda. At the beginning, I really thought Che was just going to be a plot device for Miranda to discover her sexuality and that they would go their separate ways and Miranda would start discovering herself anew. This madly-in-love plotline makes no sense. Maybe they're saving the sense for a second season.

Yes! Just the way she is acting, like an insecure teenager, is really annoying. In your 50’s one should know, I hope, that you can fly to California AND to Paris AND it will be okay if you miss a taping or two of your SO new show. Your SO should be okay with that and if they aren’t that a huge red flag. And actually why go to California?? Do your thing in NYC and then go when you know whether the pilot will get picked up.
Also, I didn’t like how Carrie ran off like a toddler having a tantrum when Miranda approached her with her scheduling ‘conundrum’.
1. Ditto what sparky said: I totally went all out with the CPR until the paramedics arrived; 2. Charlotte stating she "was in menopause after 4 months" is BS: menopause has to be full 12 months to be declared post-menopausal; 3. I loved the dress and gloves Carrie wore in Paris when she dumped Big off the bridge.

I don’t mind the redic story lines or outfits. At least that’s a bit fun. My main complaint was that the show was missing fun, funny scenes. I’ll just keep saying that I miss Samantha.
I got a vibe from the producer of the podcast related to Carrie. So I wasn’t super surprised.
Same. I think I posted something about it back in the early episodes. Regardless, kissing your producer/co-worker/possible boss in the elevator at work is...something.
This season wasn't much of a surprise - I think the characters have always been selfish/childish/bratty etc etc. More so in the later years than early on and definitely in the movies. Charlotte in particular is a caricature.
Overall I generally watch the show for the clothes, not the storylines. Always have. And the clothes are still as ridiculous as ever. I guess we'll see if they show up for another season or not.
I was picking up on a vibe with them at the party/surprise wedding.
Yeah but even that was only 10 show minutes before the kiss. They've been working together for almost a year - and he's had almost no screen time.
I liked the kiss - but it wasn't earned.
I thought it was very similar to something that the "old" Carrie would have done and was used to illustrate that she was coming back, her spark, her ability to feel a spark with someone else and act on it, etc.
And I kind of like that it was someone who had been there all along and had seen her through out that entire time.
I assumed that the kiss at the end was jumping forward in time and that it wasn't their first kiss. Like maybe it's a few months later and they are dating now, and this was just a surprise reveal for the viewers.
