6/28 Pop-up January 6th Hearing

Hearings were at rest for 2 weeks after the last hearing. Yesterday, a new hearing was announced but did not disclose the witness. Surprise witness was revealed to be Senior Aide to Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson.  She is 25 years old and also worked for Scalise in the past.

I should have linked but I was just reading a article that was saying it was moved up due to fears for her safety. If that’s true I can see why she would be nervous.

Yes, MSNBC reported she fired her previous attorney and moved to a "non-Trump" attorney.

She's talking about all the reports and warnings of the potential for violence and weapons on January 6th. She also mentioned she heard discussions re: The Proud Boys and Oath Keepers when Rudy G. was involved in meetings.

Pistols, rifles, spears on flag poles, bear spray, body armor were reported by secret service/police and she discussed it with Mark Meadows about 10-10:15am.

She’s making it very clear Trump was in the loop very early on and that Mark Meadows was totally unconcerned.

Trump was furious because the arena wasn’t maxed out at capacity.

She said Tony Ornato had told TFG about weapons and potential for violence.

There were texts between CH and TO that TFG was pissed because there were not enough people in the shot/photo full of people for his speech due to security/mags for detecting weapons. He said the armed individuals were not there to hurt him, so he (TFG) didn't care if they had weapons.

Trump didn’t care that they had weapons. He wanted the mags to be put away and for anyone who had weapons to be allowed in as “they weren’t there to hurt [him].”

She says that when she went to tell Mark Meadows about CP being overrun, he shut the car door on her twice and when she was able to talk to him, he had a "lack of reaction".

Speech writers were told not to include language about “fighting for our nation” because it could be damaging to Trump.

Rudy G told Cassidy that Trump planned to go to the Capitol. TFG was determined to join the insurrection at the Capitol after his speech and told many WH aids. Not marching, driving. Of course.

It’s patently clear Trump knew exactly what was happening all along and, in fact, wanted it to happen.

Trump thought they were still going up to the Capitol, but when they told him they were going to the West Wing, he flew off the handle.

There was discussion of TFG giving a speech at the CAPITOL. In the BEAST, TFG thought that the OTR movement of the POTUS/BEAST to the CAPITOL was still happening, after his Elipse speech. HOLY SHIT, Trump had a meltdown in the car and attacked the guys neck.

I probably disagree with this young woman on nearly every political issue, but have respect for her being willing to testify. Her life is absolutely in danger with this testimony. As a 25 year old, she is doing something that almost no one else is willing to do…tell the truth, under oath.
