That picture made me gasp. I cannot believe how slow and careful we have to be because of this asshole. Any other person would be in jail and sentenced by now. Who knows what he’s already done with those, who has seen them, who has handled them etc. so dangerous.
Did we know that the RNC was still paying his legal bills??? They are refusing to pay for the MAL defense. Who the hell keeps giving the GOP and trump so much money? It's like they are in a cult or MLM scheme and keep being defrauded of their money.

I wonder what happened to the classified documents that used to be in the empty folders marked classified.
Also, WTF to the lack of any kind of chain of command for all of these top secret files. How do they just get "lost" basically for years? Shouldn't there be records that show where the folders are, who checked them out etc.? I know nothing but I'm picturing some kind of evidence locker system.

You would think so. However, I'm not surprised. He had a hard time filling positions for his admin. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I think he was 50% understaffed at all times.

oh shit...I just caught this....there wer 48 folders marked classified that should have had documents and they were gone!?!?!?

Not to mention, how many issues did we have during his term related to things that had no true rule or law, but were simply previously adhered to by other administrations out of respect for the office and decorum? I'm not surprised at the lack of enforcement on this because up until Trump, it had never been something that anyone needed to be concerned about.
“I don’t have clearance to touch or go through classified documents. You actually have to have clearance to do that.”
She then quickly corrected herself and said: “These were declassified, is my understanding. But then again I am not the attorney that is handling this, haven’t been. I don’t plan on being. There are a team of attorneys who are dealing with this.”
I don’t quite understand what this means, so this may be a dumb question: even though he proposed candidates for this special master, can anyone be picked or does it have to be from his proposed list?
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Also, will the special master even have proper security clearance to review these documents?
Yes, AFTER he lost the election. Not recommended by the ABA. Barely any qualifications. Legal experts of all political backgrounds are basically all WTF about the ins and outs of this decision.

Wow. The utter hypocrisy. I honestly do not understand how someone can say this with a straight face.
"Christopher Kise, a lawyer for Trump, decried leaks about the case, which he said “continue with no respect for the process nor any regard for the real truth. This does not serve well the interests of justice.”
“Moreover, the damage to public confidence in the integrity of the system simply cannot be underestimated. The responsible course of action here would be for someone — anyone — in the Government to exercise leadership and control."

I have a feeling the leaks aren't coming from the FBI or DOJ but from someone close to Trump, probably the same person(s) who tipped off the FBI.
There was a point made yesterday on tv where someone said Imagine how other countries feel about us now. Basically a outgoing President can just take a pile of secrets to his country club.
Resurrecting this thread because I feel like this is a big deal:
"One of the Justice Department’s most experienced national security prosecutors has joined the team overseeing the intensifying investigation of classified documents at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and private club, people familiar with the matter said."
