True random. My coworkers now believe I'm crazy. I don't know how the conversation started, but I told them all orange cats have an "M" on their forehead. There is a legend that there was an orange cat in the manager with baby Jesus and it comforted him. Mary in gratitude drew her M on the cat and now orange cats are forever marked. I realize this makes no sense, but the internet backs me up!
lol whut?
I’m gonna need all the people here with orange cats to confirm or deny.
Correction- I looked at him in the light and he does indeed have an M!
He’s still a devil cat though
I feel like orange cats are notorious for being bad. I have two and they're a handful and so damn chatty. This morning one of mine just walked up and bit my foot, wtf. He got banished from my bedroom and was like what did I do to deserve this cruel punishment??
Mine is so darn sweet and loveable! He’s definitely chatty, and Velcro to me but he’s so snuggly and cuddly. He tries to climb he constantly and wants carried around like a baby. Or he will ride on my shoulders. Lol
He’s like a teddy bear.
But sometimes he does just get a little devil in him. Lol
OMFG. I really thought the election was the week after next, but just realized it's on Tuesday. What the hell, brain? I can't seem to get it through my head that it is November already. Also I think the last couple of elections just broke me because I am in some level of denial about the fact that there is even a huge election coming up. It's kind of weird honestly.
I guess we should decide if we are early voting, lol. There is no reason we can't do it on election day but I'm always nervous in case we get sick or something.

I’ve heard the M from Mary for all tabby cats. I’ve had 3 brown and gray ones and all have had it. Bottom cat is straight out of Hades too. Top photo cat is my angel bug except when it comes to our dog, he HATES him.
This is cheddar, our ginger asshole. He’s about a year and some change. I am zero percent shocked to find out he has two full devil horns displayed so prominently, yet hid by his cuteness. Hahaha
Well, since we've headed down that road ... Samara Star. I call her a SiamAbby - a perfect mix of Siamese and tabby. She has the tabby M, the tabby bullseyes on her sides, and a tabby tail. And some of that coloration filled in as she grew up, just like a Siamese does (along with her Siamese eyes and chattiness).
We had an orange tabby growing up and that cat was so freaking smart.
He would open doors, and even figured out how to pop open the microwave! We stored bread and donuts in there (they were his fav) so of course he figured it out!

You guys are all making me want a kitten! Our last cat died last summer--she was 20! Speaking of needing a lot of medicine, she had neurological problems but they had to give her the sedation of a 20 pound cat to put her to sleep. She was only five pounds. Chloe wasn't ready to die but she didn't have a quality of life. It was both incredibly sad and sardonicaly funny.
These cat pictures are adorable.
My husband I go away for a weekend every year together with no kids or pets. We leave tomorrow for Highlands, NC. Have never been and I'm so excited to just enjoy each other without distractions. The weather looks terrible for Saturday with lots of rain--oh well

The orange cat I used to have was the smartest cat I've ever known, and incredibly handsome. I have a big soft spot for huge ginger cats. I'm going to make it my business to have another one someday (not adding to my current zoo).

damn, that's impressive! our golden retriever was so smart growing up that she got up on her hind legs and rang the doorbell to come in. None of our cats or dogs have been Mensa level since

He lived to 21 and was just the best. He let us dress him up in baby clothes (and even cut a tail hole in a diaper) and let us push him around in a stroller when we were young!

When we first got him and took him to the vet and she said, “oh you got an orange one! Orange cats are special” and laughed.
Yeah, we figured out what she meant lol.
He is the definition of “curiosity killed the cat.” Our calico is very cautious and watches from a distance. Our orange guy just dives in head first.
I just found out that the Democratic Candidate for Senate is having a rally in my town tonight so I decided to go. They promise to have us out before the Phillies and Eagles games start

Interesting. I had some genetic testing done at some point that shows that I metabolize several medications very quickly, we were testing various anxiety meds. I also have an extremely high tolerance for alcohol (I drank a pint glass of whiskey last night and barely had a buzz) and don't even bother with things like Vicodin when I'm injured because even the highest dose doesn't help with pain, but never really put two and two together.
I also double checked the packaging and it is definitely 5mg per 5mL, so I definitely took 50mg.
Same here with vicodin. I currently have a broken foot and no pain meds are touching it.
Ugh. That really sucks! I wish I could remember what they gave me after my last surgery. It wasn't morphine, but it was something else intravenous. That was one of the only pain meds that has ever worked for me.
I miss having a cat so much! I want all the colors of kitties. Nobody wants to do the litter box or the work of helping our dog accept a kitten, but someday.
My mom had an orange cat who was female, which is really rare. I don't remember if she had an M, I'd have to find old pictures.
My parents’ Hariette was all orange. The first time we took her to the vet, he called everyone in to see. She was the BEST CAT EVER. She followed my dad like a dog, she’d go outside w him while he smoked. All he had to say was “come on, H” and she’d be running to him. And she definitely had an M!

We always say august (my ginger kitty) is so much like a dog. Best cat ever for sure.
I love all three of my cats but there is something special about our ginger.
I can't drive by an dog without saying hello to it. I mean I say it to myself in my car, I don't stop and actually say hi I will just quietly say "hello pup-pup".
When our German Shepherd was a puppy I was outside with him a lot. Every man that drove past us waved to him and/or said hello. Specifically to him. LOL
