Michigan is starting to worry me. I expected Prop 3 (the reproductive freedom proposal) to pass overwhelmingly, with plenty of Rs crossing over to vote for it even if they stuck with voting R for everything else on the ballot. But so far, Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Prop 3 all have roughly the same percentage voting D vs. R (or yes vs no in the case of Prop 3); all are roughly 53% vs. 43%, give or take a couple points depending on the race. I know it’s still very early, but this is looking much closer than I want it to.
I’m so worried that I feel nauseous.
I can’t believe how close all the races are. The man who is currently charged with election tampering and previously accused of defrauding and physically assaulting his clients should not be this close to being AG. The woman who tried to murder her family should not be this close to being SOS. And the right to medical care should not even remotely be up for debate. I need to stop refreshing the results page and just go to sleep, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

Freep says less than 1% of Wayne County is in. And there’s over a million absentee ballots. There’s hope. At least that’s what I’m telling myself so I don’t have to cry myself to sleep.

I'm holding out for polls to close in CA, I'm hoping our 30 year congressman finally gets the boot since we were redistricted to include a much larger blue swath of land. I've had the chance to work with him over the last few weeks over local level issues and he's incredible. The race has gotten national attention and has moved from R to too close to call in recent polls.
I’m puzzled that proposition FF is split 55/45 for!
This is free breakfast and lunch for kids at school! I thought for would be much higher.
Colorado
I actually thought it would fail by a lot. I am not low income but free meals were pretty life changing for us and I really hope they come back.
I am hopeful the numbers hold. I agree, it made a huge difference not having to pay for 3 kids to get lunch (and that was with them getting hot lunch only twice a week). This year I have really felt the cost.
Anyone else feel nauseous about the closeness of the Georgia race between Walker and Warnock?
The only thing keeping me from totally losing it is that if no one gets 50% there will be a runoff. Which doesn’t necessarily mean Warnock will win as it will be absolute nuclear war especially if it’s the seat that decides control.
