I saw an interesting interview by Brian Tyler Cohen. The interviewee was a law expert that used work cases opposite the DC case judge as lawyers. He said the NY gag order was the warning and if the gag order is violated again and jail time is ordered, that should be a felony and getting a felony would violate the pretrial release conditions of the other trials, for which the normal consequence would be jail time until the trial(s) is over. It’s unclear what would happen in the DC case while the Supreme Court is reviewing the immunity issue since that case is paused - Can he keep violating the DC gag order without recourse while it’s paused? But the Georgia case doesn’t have a hold so he could be put in jail. The interviewee also said he thought there was a snowballs chance in hell that would happen because there’s been special treatment but any other person in that situation would be put in jail.

Honestly, I am thinking at this point, if he’s not in jail, he still won’t show up for Barron’s graduation and will use the time off for a “rally.”

He'll do a 2 second photo op and then head out. So he can sleep on the plane on the way. 

I have such fond memories of my graduations and my sister's. There's no way he's sticking around for those celebratory meals and parties.

I understand and appreciate that this court case is very serious and the prosecution has real evidence and witnesses to several crimes. But the crushing weight of so much corruption by Trump for so many years that just doesn’t stop coming. I mean, the current issue of Time magazine has Trump interviewed detailing all ways he plans to be a vindictive dictator.

It seems that Trump & his campaign’s concern about the American voting public’s reaction to sex with a porn star while his wife was pregnant is … almost quaint.

Yes. No one actually cares about a sex scandal unless it serves a political purpose with the bonus of destroying a woman. But a woman who is openly in the sex industry isn't going to be destroyed in the same was Monica Lewinsky was.

The crimes here are more egregious than some cheating monster cheating. I think focusing on the sex part and whether he was married, was pregnant, it all detracts from the relevant information of crimes.

Of course they are serious crimes. I said that. The desperate criminal acts (over and over again - the fraud, the manufactured invoices, etc.) all to prevent the public from learning about the affair strikes me as something a campaign would care about in a very far away place, a very long time ago. Because right now the public hears all about how truly deranged, immoral, broken, and criminal he is CONSTANTLY and even from his own mouth. And the voters still vote for him. Caring that much about a single story about sex & a porn worker seems quaint.

10th violation, 2nd warning after violating the gag order… I’m hoping it’s 3 strikes he’s out. I would think the judge would order some in between step, like telling him he cannot use phones or computers on house arrest or sequestered.

I also wonder if the defense could argue the timing of it, like if he filmed an interview before the first violations and they are playing it now, or that someone else is responsible for his account messages.

I’m not optimistic about him actually going to jail, but he’s certainly trying to get there or he has zero self control. If he encourages a threat and some psycho supporter tries to follow through I think the judge will have no choice but to jail him.

I am irrationally annoyed that when asked if he will testify in his own defense, Trump says with his whole chest “I can’t! I can’t testify because the judge issued a gag order. I can’t defend myself. I can’t speak at all.” And then his fucking lawyer just nods along.

In the grand scheme of all of his miserable and outrageous lies, it’s just another one.

It’s just SUCH A LIE !! It’s an offense to our justice system. And our intelligence.

I’ve even head people trying to blame Biden for 2020, when you know, he wasn’t even in office. Also, we weren’t better off in 2017-2019. It was a daily barrage of what terrible things will happen today!

And if his jobs do their job as required by law, they'll be deemed deep state or victim targets. He certainly hasn't stood by the lawyers debarred on his behalf.

But he's not attacking them specifically which is a razor thin edge of staying on the right side of the law. The only sign I see he still has his faculties.

YES. The judge rebuked this officially, on the record, plainly spoken, out loud, and on camera/video. It’s still so frustrating that a lie travels faster and farther than the truth.

I need this verified by something other than a SM post. I think the judge will only issue jail time if he’s directly calling out a witness or the jury and be more lenient for threats to him [the judge]. The thought of his stressed out legal team scrambling to manage him like a toddler makes me laugh. His legal team in a discrimination case is trying to quit.
