Hard to watch the reporters interviewing those in attendance as they are all MAGA and therefore terrible and yes they are more in love with DT now than ever. You just know DT will start saying he took a bullet for his people.

There was a mass shooting about a month ago by my house and initially there was lots of confusion as people tried figuring out if it was fireworks or a car or something else- people in shock, etc. I don’t think with such a volatile situation we can gauge much from initial reactions.

Right and people ARE reacting if you watch the video. I’m not understanding why people keep saying the crowd didn’t react. Many of them duck down and look confused and stunned. You can hear people reacting, too.

CNN is reporting all sorts of reactions- all dems are condemning violence & offering support.

As violent as a country as we live in & as aggrieved as everybody has been (since Obama took office), I'm actually surprised there haven't been more political assassination attempts.

I will come out and say all joking aside, We shouldn't kill political rivals & I know this man and his ilk have reined down countless miseries and likely deaths at the hands of his policies, we can't have a country organized by political violence, not this and not Jan 6.

But yes, Biden will have to make a statement about political violence, as he should, but it is absolutely infuriating that the one who has stoked it the most through his rhetoric is now going to be able to use this to paint himself as the ultimate martyr. I don't think this is going to impact anyone's feelings one way or another but it is certainly cementing the divide.

I don’t know this guy but I’m not surprised that SOMEONE went there. It is so irresponsible though and almost seems like a call for retaliation. I am very scared for Biden and just the country in general now.
