VP Candidate Speculation

Well, I ordered a Harris/whoever sign today! If it’s Shapiro (my Governor who is also a local) I expect to see a lot more around here, but there’s someone near me with a Cats for Kamala sign already. They live next to one of the few conservatives in my borough.

Ohhh, I already ordered all of my merch, including a sign. I didn't even think about the lack of running mate at the time. Oh well, my signs always get destroyed so I'll buy 3 or 4 after they have the new ones printed.  eta: I usually place my sign toward the sidewalk to make sure it's more visible, but this year I'm going to put it in front of my shrubs closer to the front of the house so my Ring will catch anyone messing with it.

Okay, well now all of my political FB groups are making a good case for why they think it's Walz. I just really hope we win Pennsylvania.

I feel like this whole transition has gone too well. I am afraid she is going to pick Shapiro and lose momentum. There are a variety of people not thrilled with him for a variety of reasons.

I have not seen anything negative about Walz

Apparently there were just a bunch of black SUVs leaving the governor's mansion and a flight scheduled from the St. Paul airport to an airport in Philadelphia tomorrow morning.

So of course Minnesotans are convinced it's him. 😂

You know what? I changed my mind. I think she's going to pick Walz. Not because of the SUV/flight tracker thing, but because I think he's the best choice and I think she'll make the best choice.

I saw the video of the SUV on Threads, plus everything I see on there is convinced it's him (but maybe I'm just getting a lot of MN people). I have mixed feelings! He'd be amazing but he's ours! Lol

I signed up and I haven't gotten any confirmation about going. :/ 

Shapiro will be there tonight. My H and I were talking about how with Shapiro, he would be great, but people really have to pick him and not feel like he was picked for them if that makes sense. There's already a touch of "Harris was just installed in this position" from some fringes. She needed someone without controversy, not even made up things or things that don't matter that much.
