With this in mind, yesterday I learned that Trump sat down with Dave Ramsey, and I've been thinking that the DR audience is another one that should hear from Kamala.
Agreed! They need to hear what an absolute NIGHTMARE the proposed tariffs would be to their precious down-to-the-penny budgets.
However, I’d put the likelihood of Ramsey allowing her on the show to be pretty close to the chances of Putin deciding to give up power. Not going to happen.
Oh, I just realized I didn't fully finish my original thought. He said he invited her. I would be curious to know why she passed.

Wow! I’m truly shocked to hear that. I’d be so curious as to what went on behind the scenes there!

Harris clashes with host in contentious interview on Fox Kamala Harris on Wednesday sat down for an interview with Fox News after holding an event featuring prominent Republicans in Pennsylvania.
The interview with Fox chief political anchor Bret Baier, which also featured a testy back-and-forth on immigration, represented a calculated gamble for Harris, given Fox’s role as a conservative-leaning network that is one of the top news sources for Republicans. It offered her a chance to refashion a recent comment on ABC’s “The View” that she could not think of anything she would do differently from Biden, a remark that even many Democrats strategists viewed as a misstep.
“Let me be very clear — my presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency, and like every new president that comes in to office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas,” Harris said. “I represent a new generation of leadership.”

This has more details.... Baier sounds like an ass
6 Takeaways From Harris’s Combative Interview on Fox News Pressed and often interrupted by Bret Baier, the vice president opened up a little more distance from President Biden and defended her position on immigration and border security.
The no respect of who is sitting right in front of you. Just interrupting her. He probably had only so much time and wanted to get all his MAGA shit in and ignore what she was saying. I only saw clips so far but it seems she did great.
A former co worker posted how she was happy that Harris will be on Fox and so I asked her what she thought.
She felt Harris didn’t answer the questions fully and was dancing around them. 😑
Really disappointing, but she’s an older Republican so not surprised. I have no idea who she plans to vote for this time.
I have to say that I don't completely disagree with her, especially if she didn't watch the entire interview. It's politics, right before an election. Politicians are often going to leave some answers a little more ambiguous because they don't want to turn away other voters.
ALSO (and probably MORE importantly) it's really hard to actually answer a question when the person doing the interviewing doesn't actually give you a chance to answer and just keeps talking over you!
It was obvious that Fox didn't come to get answers (we all knew that), they came to get soundbites. And she refused to give them what they wanted.
Ummm.... wasn't she cut off repeatedly? Hard to answer a question fully when you are constantly interrupted.
That’s what I asked. Did you feel that bret interrupted her too much? Waiting for a reply.
Update… she said Bret had the right to interrupt because Harris wouldn’t stop talking.
We had a healthy back and forth. She likes Vance. 🫠. But appreciated the articles I shared with her concern and said she would read them later.
She had all the same concerns a. Old republican has…illegals getting money instead of veterans, my taxes are going g to pay for the first time homebuyers stipend…etc.

LOL. Some Trumpers showed up at Harris’s rally tonight and she said, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally” (long pause with lots of laughter and cheering) “I think you meant to go to the smaller one one up the street.”
An especially great listen if you might know some people who could still be influenced to vote blue, especially if they only vote Republican because they’ve always voted that way and think that’s what is expected of them. Their takeaway on the interview: Some of what Kamala said landed with Baier. (But obviously he can’t let on because of Fox lords.)

A friend of mine posted something (positive) about Kamala yesterday and someone responded with this reel/TikTok whatever that no Christians should vote for her because she kicked out people (ummm they were hecklers) for saying "Jesus is King." Because you know, nothing says Christianity like Trump.

She’s literally a Christian herself. People are so dumb.

I’ve looked into this quite a bit. What I came to understand/believe is that it can be twisted differently depending on where the person taking the video was. There was a person (or group) yelling, “Lies, lies, lies” and some else yelling, “Jesus Christ is King.” It’s pretty obvious (because she’s LOOKING in the direction of the people yelling “lies”) who she was talking to, but the timing was the same.
HOWEVER, even IF it wasn’t that obvious…yelling “Jesus Christ is King” at ANY rally is the wrong place, wrong time. That’s like yelling, “BANANAS ARE THE BEST” in the middle of a pep rally. Even if everyone there agrees with it, it’s neither the time nor the place.

Sharing Harris’s words here to help carry us through these last two weeks:
Kamala Harris: We cannot despair. We cannot despair. The nature of a democracy is such that I think there's a duality. On the one hand, there's an incredible strength when our democracy is intact. An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. And so that's the moment we're in. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. And so let's not feel powerless. Because then we have been defeated. And that's not our character as the American people. We are not one to be defeated. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.
