Maybe his body gives out on him, but they hide how sick he is so the party *can't* put forward another nominee. Most everyone at this point knows he's at death's door so they either don't vote, or they vote for Harris.
I don’t want him to die in September or anytime before the election.
After he has lost the election, sure.
I mean, the dream is that the election being called for Harris (or maybe the inauguration?) gives him a fatal stroke. Or maybe that’s just MY dream lol

I think the medium i saw on tt alluded to him having to drop out for some reason, most likely health. I have no knowledge of psychics or mediums but hell, itll be interesting if he drops out!
Oh no Ross & Carrie (podcast) visit several psychics every year toward the new year and then follow up a year later (and also after the psychic said something would happen, if longer). They also annually make their own "psychic" predictions.
The psychic predictions almost never hit unless they're really, really vague or something that could easily apply to anyone. Their own predictions have similar accuracy rates.
Mediums are definitely hit or miss but a good astrologer on the other hand... 😉

I almost brought this up as well, all their psychic episodes are my favorite. Another thing that always sticks out to me is how people remember and hold on to the hits and move on/forget the misses. So it makes it seem like the psychic really did something, when really it's just what you remember being good.
I mean how many times has it been predicted a president would be assisinated? Obama probably had a ton of those predictions, but it's been forgotten because it didn't come true. Trump probably also had a ton and one month it finally "hit".
I'm prob on a list now using all those words together in an Internet post lol.

I'll send an atheist prayer to protect you from all the sponsored woo ads headed your way.
Skeptics guide to the universe does something similar (or did. I haven't listened in years). They never had so called psychics on the show, but they'd do an end of year recap of the big names and their (lack of) success rates and compare to their own predictions. They'd finish the segment reading the famous predictions for the next year and then make their own.
I never became a children's author like a psychic at a bar mitzvah predicted. Even at 13 I was like this is bogus. Being 13 I had to tact and said 1) I don't like to write 2) I don't particularly care for children. I remember that miss!
Our lake cabin is in a very red part of Wisconsin. We have neighbors that are very huge trumpers and they drove to La Crosse on Thursday to his rally. She stopped by yesterday and told my H that Trump was an hour and a half late, took 4 questions and left LOL. They spent money to stay overnight in a hotel there too since it’s several hours away.

Was this the tulsi gabbard town hall? He went into meltdown rant mode (hell, he lives there) about how he had no idea it was a town hall. Lots of rambling about how he had a great speech, the greatest speech, but "they" didn't want him to make it.

Yes that was it. Apparently he rambled about IVF, election conspiracies, and Black jobs

Now he's back to selling NFTs. Digital trading cards, $99 a pop. Buy all 15 and he’ll mail you a REAL card. What a deal! And on top of that, he'll put his a bit of his suit he wore in the last debate onto the card.
I want to know which idiots actually buy this shit, and if they really get a real card. My guess is no.
Her name is Nancy and she lives in PA. Her kids have taken away her credit cards and have limited her debit usage so she can't buy anything else from him. She believes Trump is God's ordained leader and the DEMONcrats are using the power of the devil to corrupt America.
Nancy also buys those Trumpy Bears, has a room for them.
How is it that same people who ever screaming about Biden being unfit and being in a state severe mental decline can’t look at their own candidate and see that he is actually unfit and in severe mental decline?

I read some transcripts and op-eds. Unhinged is an understatement. If I didn't know better I'd think I was drugged and hallucinating or asleep and in a fever dream. I truly don't get how his cult isn't acknowledging at least some of the crazy signs.

This would not surprise me at all. I was last at her house in March and she had little Trump flags in her tea cups on the hutch.
The irony, that I and her children see, is that she was considered liberal and progressive in her younger days. I keep wondering if all of this was lying dormant and she wasn't as progressive as I remember or if aging has really fucked with her. She used to be the person scoffing at conspiracy theories and debunking them with facts and logic and now she buys into all of them hook, line, and sinker. She's almost 88 and definitely having cognitive issues. She is always the first person I think of when someone says "but who believes this stuff?!" Nancy. Nancy believes it wholeheartedly.

I don’t know where else to put this confession. I rarely cook but when I moved into my first apartment a relative gave me a recipe box with family recipes. I was looking for a specific recipe yesterday and found a printed out recipe from 2007? for Mar-a-lago turkey burgers and a little article mentioning he who should not be named. I only made them once, and I think they were decent but not worth the overly complicated effort IMO. I probably heard about them somewhere (maybe the Oprah show)? I tossed the recipe.

This is my very Democrat, Trump hating friend’s favorite recipe for turkey burgers. I always think it sounds very hard for a turkey burger which to me are just kind of mid anyway even when they’re well prepared 😜
For a long time, I tried to square two things in my head - Trump's obsession with military displays and military force, v. his complete disdain for the actual people who are that military. It finally clicked for me. To him, it's just like his hotels and clubs. He loves the big showy buildings and hotel empire, but you know he doesn't give a shit about the dishwashers, bellboys or other staff that actually allow those properties to function. An army recruit and housekeeping are the same to him. Expendable, interchangeable suckers who don't matter the moment they aren't serving you. Someone injured in battle is just another nuisance worker's comp claim he thinks should go away.

sonrisa Totally agree and will add that he also makes a big deal of military to try to detract from his privileged use of medical deferment to avoid serving in Vietnam.

i honestly dont think he sees his deferment as a problem. Only ‘losers’ and ‘suckers’ get captured, die in wars or show up unquestioningly when drafted. He thinks he is smarter and better than all that.

He has a similar view with taxes. You're an idiot if you don't hire the craftiest shadiest to find every single loophole

One opinion I’ve heard about this that made sense - He’s a narcissist so he cannot stand that everyone calls military personnel heroes, and he is not considered a hero. He makes himself feel better by degrading them and considering himself smart for scamming the system and getting out of serving.
AOC was correct in her DNC speech: “We know that Donald Trump would sell this country for a dollar if it meant lining his own pockets and greasing the palms of his Wall Street friends. And I, for one, am tired of hearing how a two-bit union-buster thinks about himself as more of a patriot than the woman who fights every single day to lift working people out from under the boots of greed.”

He made that clear ONLY after he was called out for not paying taxes.
Which goes back to he is 1,000% a narcissist and has an inflated sense of superiority…among other things.

I don't remember which thread it was we were talking signs and flags, but I'll share this here. I just did a 10 day road trip from Seattle to North/NorthCentral Idaho with a bit of cutting across Montana. I only counted 12 Trump flags. 2 in Eastern WA and 0 in Montana. The vast majority of them were on RVs along the Coeur d'Alene River. I didn't see a single one on a boat in my 4 days in Sandpoint. I did see several "Vote Republican" signs and a many for local candidates that were styled in the Trump/Vance way, but actual Trump sings and flags were almost non-existent in this very red area.
I saw no Harris/Walz sings outside of the area surrounding U of M in Missoula. I didn't notice any near WSU or Univ of Idaho.
The first political sign went up in my neighborhood - it’s a large poster in a front door window. Because of the size of the image and the height of the window/poster placement, it looks like Kamala has been hanging with the couple and is on her way out the door. Lol.

If it makes you feel better, I own a blazer from Ivanka Trump's clothing line. I bought it pre-MAGA and I actually still like it a lot but I haven't been able to bring myself to wear it in the past 8 years.

In 2016 my husband bought two MyPillows.
We are still haunted by that decision. 😂
We were gifted MyPillows around that time.
We thought they were super uncomfortable so they're strictly used for guests or when we need a second pillow to prop up your head when you have a cold.
