We have a 2 car garage and one real car. So it parks on one side and the other side has H’s project 1964/5(?) Bronco that he hasn’t touched in literal years.
3 car detached garage without a driveway (alley). One stall is all the tools that will hopefully be leaving within the next year. My car is in the middle and the golf cart and random things are in the one closest to the door.
When XH lived here, he parked in the garage because he has a Jeep and took off the doors and/or top a lot. I parked in front which I was fine with because I walked through less “elements” to get inside.
But our streets are so narrow and people keep running into cars (literally two accidents this weekend- both attempted to hit and run but couldn’t). I’m staying in the garage and when SD starts to drive in 2 years, she’ll get the spot the tools are currently in.

I have a 2 car storage unit (aka too much useless worthless junk in the garage). I park in the driveway. I do park in half of the garage when the weather is bad--but I have to move the recycle bins, yard waste bag, fan, 30 year old wet vac, etc. BEFORE the bad weather if I want to park there. My driveway comfortably fits 4 cars with 2 side by side. I live in the southern US, so snow isn't a concern here.
Street parking is supposed to be illegal after 24 hours, but one neighbor has 2 giant work trucks and the teenager's car parked taking up half the road almost all the time. If the other neighbor parks his giant pick up truck in the road, the road is blocked. The other neighbor doesn't do this often and for usually only a few hours. I know the first neighbor had code enforcement called on them at least once about it. Emergency vehicles can barely get past all of his trucks.
Also, you aren't supposed to park cars here on anything but a "solid surface" like concrete or gravel. That's also a code enforcement issue.

We have one car and we park in our small drive (which could very tightly fit two cars but only just). Most people in my area, if they have a car, park on the road. The drive was one factor in buying our place. We do not have a garage and the last time we had one, it was tiny (I swear London garages aren't actually made for any size car but more for storage). We rarely get any bad weather other than rain, so it's fine.

We have a 3-car garage, and DH and I both park in the garage. We have a flatbed trailer, our lawn tractor, and other items stored in the 3rd stall, so DS's car is parked outside, in front of the 3rd stall.
Our driveway is only 1 car wide but 2 deep. I park in our carport and DH usually parks in the street. Sometimes in the driveway if he's pretty sure he'll be leaving before me. But also- our son plays basketball a lot in the driveway, so for that reason too, DH parks in the street.
All those who park in the driveway, do you live where it snows? We were so excited when we moved into this house with a garage and could park the car in it. Never shoveling that car out again! To me that’s the main benefit of a garage.
Same. I will never not put my car in the garage in the winter. This year for the first time we have a teen driver. Have fun scraping your car sucker!
Also some of yall need to buy smaller cars. The problem is not your garage size.
We have a 2 car attached garage, probably 2-3 spaces next to our garage (fits a motor home), and a shop that could probably hold 6-8 cars.
I park in our 'upstairs garage'. My husband either parks next to the house or in the shop (he has a car and a truck and they each move around a lot). If his parents are here in the motor home he is definitely in the shop. We call it the 'downstairs garage' because you have to walk down a small hill to get to it and technically the entrance is on our side street.

And miss out on the time honored Boston tradition of space savers and angry altercations with your neighbors when they steal your shoveled out spot? Psh.

::waves from Philly::
The Philly PD puts up memes on social media to remind residents that the official policy is that you may not save dug out parking spots in the snow. Each neighborhood has their own norms, tho. In mine? People will throw your chair away and park. In others? People will cover your car in snow if you take someone’s spot.
It’s fun. The PPA boots its own cars here, too. Get some popcorn.

Lol sounds right! The city's official stance is that space savers aren't allowed, but in my neighborhood the norm is you get 2 days after the storm where the spot is yours with a space saver then its a free for all. People will absolutely retaliate if you take the spot they just dug out.
Garage. Per subdivision rules, you can’t leave vehicles on the driveway overnight long-term unless you meet certain rules with your garage, such as having a certain amount of your garage space already filled with other vehicles.
Probably due to snow/ice and our suburban area layout, pretty much everyone I know parks in their garage unless they have an extra vehicle that won’t fit that needs to stay on the driveway.
That is an extremely controlling rule, I'm a little afraid to know what other things they have rules about.

I park in my 2 car garage that can really only fit 1 car since there are workbenches and storage bins along the walls. DH parks on the street. Most of our neighbors have the exact same scenario and there’s about 1-2 street spaces in front of each house. It never used to be a problem but the rental across the street always has 20-something’s living there (like maybe grad students). The latest group all have cars and trucks and all their significant others have cars that are constantly coming and going and it’s more difficult to find street parking now. Their garage is filled with furniture and boxes and it also seemed like people are always moving in and out, so maybe friends are staying temporarily or they are renting short term, but no cars can fit in their garage. There’s a lot of street parking half a block away.
2 car garage. We park in the garage. Our son parks his car in our driveway, which can be a PITA as it blocks one car. We live on an alleyway so don't have direct street parking.
On the street (garage door spring broke last year and we were thinking of tearing it down for an addition so we didn't fix it).
But right now we are waiting for epoxy poured on the floor of our new garage to dry. Theoretically we'll be back in the garage soon. If it doesn't look too pretty to use. lol. It rains only occasionally here so smoke season is when I most want the attached garage and for charging when we eventually replace our hybrid with an EV. (it's only 8 years old right now.)
(even so, we only park one of two cars in the garage. Yes, it's a technically two car garage even with the wall blocking off the office nook, but we have bikes and there, no attic, no basement, and are almost not closets so our coats, beach towels, boogie board, seasonal decorations, tools, etc need somewhere to go. And now the kids want a kayak. lol.)

If I park in the garage, then I have to shovel all the way from my garage to the street to get out. If I park my car at the end of my driveway, I can clear off my car and leave in like 1/10th of the time.

Yeah, being able to park in the garage is definitely a trade off we made with car size. My 2013 Subaru Forester is the biggest car we can reasonably get in our early 60s two-door garage, anything bigger is either too wide to go in or so long that you can't walk around the car. I don't particularly need a car bigger than that, so being able to fit in the garage is a criteria for any replacement car.

We have a 3 car garage and room for 3 cars in the driveway. We both park in the garage and the 3rd spot it used for lawn equipment, DH's motorcycle etc. It's rare for us to park outside.
After years of living in a condo with a one car detached garage and one outdoor parking space, we swore that we'd park in our attached 2 car garage once we moved into our house. So that's what we do. Our other options would be the driveway or the ample curb space near our house. There aren't houses directly across the street from us, so all that empty curb is very convenient for anyone's guests.
We just moved to a new house with no garage. Our old place had a 2 car garage and it’s really the only thing I seriously miss. Now we have a circle drive in front and a side driveway, so that’s where we park.
