I think Collins and Murkowski might vote no on Gaetz, but you need at least 1-2 more. And I don't know who that would be.

Scaramuccis are what is giving me some hope right now. I try to remember what a hot mess the last administration was. An administration full of “look at how outrageous I can be!” people is likely to be extremely ineffective with high turnover. That’s my hope, at least.

I think his staff will revolt, run circles around him, sabotage him or quit and he couldn’t hire new staff faster than he will last. Reporters were reading some of their anonymous reactions and they were all like WTF! This is INSANE! They floated around Ken Paxton for AG and as much as I’d love him out of TX he’s an evil criminal who is way smarter so I don’t love the idea…

I also think 🍊 has some smarter idea people pulling strings for now and they’ve had 4 years to plan but once they run through options A, B, C they are going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel even more and it will be more incompetence and chaos. If you think these picks are bad, do you think many other Senators or House Reps are going to want to leave their positions to go work in his Administration?
