People blaming Lochte is kind of ridiculous. First off, this is not one of his strongest events and frankly the coaches never should have put him in the race as there are far better 100 free swimmers. This bad decision is only compounded by the fact that they had him swimming the anchor. 3 of the 4 members of the US relay put up times within .15 seconds of each other with Lochte having the middle time of those three. Ultimately, what happened is Agnel had a phenomenal race and was the only person in the entire race to break 47 seconds.

This makes me so grateful for the people on my FB feed. I haven't seen a single pro Chick Fil A posting, but the letter Boston's mayor sent out was shared at least 50 or so times. No joke everyone I know from every point in my life shared that shit. The only further discussion was whether or not the mayor has a right to do it, but there was no debating that chick fil a sucks.
A year or so ago Chick Fil A wanted to get into the student center at my college. The student government basically told them to screw because of their political leanings.

I loved that line and I also love Bunheads. I think the show is getting better, I'm just sad the first season is only 10 episodes. That makes me want to cry, but I do have loads of Gilmore Girls to finally watch that should tide me over.

I had a hard time with not liking Franklin or Eva throughout the book. I do agree that Eva wasn't a reliable narrator, but that didn't help me like Franklin any better. It wasn't until the end that I really enjoyed and appreciated the book. I also did not see the twist coming.

You'll pay a lot less if you get it replaced by a private company over having it replaced by Apple, but that may void your warranty. Depending on where you are in warranty expiration a private fix may or may not be a good option

I don't have much of a goal beyond making sure I'm reading. Lately, I've been sucking wind at making time for books, but summer can be that way, either I'm reading a ton or doing everything but reading

I'm reading Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter. It's decent, but it's reminding me of how much I've come to hate books that flip flop between different time periods. Inevitably one of the time periods is more interesting and it's annoying to have to wait to get back to that part of the story

What color are your eyes? Brown
(Without Googling first) Do you know what salt potatoes are? Yes, but I googled first because I couldn't resist. 5 mins ago I did not know what they were
How often do you shave your legs? When I think about it. That probably ends up being once a week or so
Best/favorite mascara? I'm currently liking one of the the Bare Escentuals ones
Use the handicap stall or no? If it's the only one open I do

I was a bit on the fence until I read his quote from after the NAACP convention. I now officially don't care. I also think it's ridiculous for him to be all "if you want free stuff from government" blah blah when Obamacare was originally Romenycare in MA. While I understand he claims to view it as an issue that should be dealt with at the state level, the way he mentions it in the quote doesn't really give off that impression.
I also think that at individual political conventions people do a lot of clapping and booing. A number of people speaking will intentionally illicit boos to get the crowd going (ie say things they know everyone including themselves disagrees with). To an extent I think people somewhat get trained that it's ok to boo in these situations. Does it make it right, no, but I watched the clips and it seemed like he got more applause than booing so I don't feel like they were completely disrespectful.

I don't remember much of my summer reading books from high school, but I did read an amazing non fiction book about the 60's (can't remember the name for the life of me) for AP US History that I adored. I loved that class and the 5 pages of books we got to choose from
As for most hated, don't remember, but my most hated book from high school was hands down Old Man and the Sea.

Definitely the Princess Bride. Practical Magic I'm torn on because I love the book, but I really loved the movie. They're pretty close, but the movie may eek out the win there

0. I honestly don't remember the last time I wrote a check, but I'm sure it's been years. I use bill pay for everything. I feel like my H probably writes 5-10 max a year, but I just head for the ATM for most instances when I would usually write a check.

I think it can be hard to not compare a movie to the book, but usually I'm able to view them separately unless they do a complete disservice to the book. I virtually always like the book better, but there's more to it because it's not crammed into 2 hours. Now, mini series/tv series are on more of a level playing field and there have definitely been times the TV show will win for me. True Blood is the first example that comes to mind. The first season was pretty true to the book and while I could barely get through the book, I loved the show.

Wait what? So, she told him she was going away for her birthday with another guy and he was fine with that? I'm assuming they're not in a poly relationship and this is truly ok with him, right? That's really sad that she's taking advantage and he's just letting her do it.
