I've always thought that the NYC ladies who run the nest, etc were secretly mortified that a bunch of other ladies spend so much time on an Internet message board. I mean why aren't we buying manolos, drinking cosmos, and getting boinked by Aiden?
I am dreading this weekend. Dyl is going out to AZ to visit family, so I am going to be alone. And on top of that I am busy allllllllllllllllll weekend, and I am dying for some downtime right now. This week was pretty shitty in general. Bleh.
On a more positive note, I am seeing Billy Elliot in LA tomorrow. So while I am irritated at being busy, I am also excited to see the play. I am one big contridiction lol
We buy only tuffys (mydogtoy.com). While my dog can destroy them, they last wayyyyy longer. 2 we have actually had for a year now. Regular stuffed toys are gone in like 2.5 seconds.
There was quite the shit storm on the Bump Pampers board where Nest Kathleen basically told them to shut up and deal with the new format and to leave the Pampers board alone (they went over there to escape the new format).
There's a Pampers board? Like, the product? Link please?
The Connect With Pampers board is also going to move to the new format in the next few days. We understand that you are still getting used to this new format, but please do not ruin the experience for the regular Connect With Pampers posters who do use this board for legitimate questions.
I don't know how much traffic they get in a day, but I'm guessing 1,000+ people leaving is enough to make them notice.
I don't know what the fuck they did, but they pissed off ML something fierce. The ML proboard is flying.

this is different than the other times people left... now they have fucked with us/the nest in ways like never before - making it easy to click posts through to FB, putting crap on Pinterest, etc.... that is what made my NJ board go.... and if this becomes private it will create a safer place for people to voice opinions, without having to worry about MSNBC using clips of our posts in articles, etc
Going private will be the death of of this set of boards, though--the only reason this works is because so many people from several boards have come over and it's open to everyone. If we lose the openness, these boards will die, just like all the other alternate (and private) alternate boards before it.
I agree, we have to stay public for this to really be another nest like environment.
