I don't judge kids wearing sleepers, but I never take Liam out in one. Even as a newborn, I would put him in "regular" clothes to go anywhere. It is much easier for me to change his diaper when he's in pants or shorts.

I judge sleepers, onesies, babies without socks or shoes, character clothing, light up shoes, and anything that looks too childish, even if it is being worn by a child.
Just kidding. I think that about covers all the MMM pet peeves regarding kid's clothing though. Who cares?!
I agree with Stella's about the rompers. They are the cutest things ever. My brother had a bunch of rugby striped ones when he was a baby and they were just perfect.
I think short sleeve with shorts on the bottom type of rompers on boys look stupid. I also dislike short sleeve button down shirts. I guess that's flameworthy?
My boys wore sweaters with elbow patches as infants. thebreakfastclub would judge me
@stellasmom I didnt put the boys in just onesies, but how is it less sanitary than if they had pants on? A pair of pants is just one more layer of clothing my kids' pee and poop leaked through. It sucked.

I don't judge any combination of clothes on kids. My kid went to Target in a Wonder Woman costume and red cowboy boots the other day. I give exactly no fucks.

Yeah, I try and give David free reign with his dress. He loves to mix and match stuff, sometimes he looks adorably ridiculous. /shrugs
However, at this age, I always dress(ed) my boys in a onsie, knit pants and shirts. I like using onsies for undershirts, so the diaper doesn't show when the shirts ride up.

I love seeing this kind of stuff. Self-expression is awesome.

Oh, I also don't judge babies in onesies and nothing else. I remember a big kerfluffle about this a few years ago. It's 120 degrees here in the summer, I'm not going to make my 6 month old wear pants/socks/any unnecessary layers.
Definitely no. But my MIL does. She asked H "what size are they wearing? B never seem to be in clothes, so I'll buy him some." Lol. Right. Because he's totally just hanging out in a diaper.
also, my kid IS totally just hanging out all day in diaper this week. eh.
We do that too maybe I should've clarified better - he wasn't in just a diaper 24/7. She was just as horrified when she would discover him/them in just diapers or in onesies with no pants/shorts. I'm so glad we live 3,000 miles away finally!
@gypsy, it was ssljlm or whoever, I think. Also MaudGonne.
Some of Jack's clothes can be kind of annoying, I think, to him; so when we're at the end of the laundry I'll often put him in a sleeper instead of the uncomfortable clothes he has left. If that makes sense.
Yes. If laundry day is here I'm much more likely to put G in a sleeper than jeans and a shirt.
Also, I usually dress DS in a T-shirt and soft pants. He never wears jeans or khakis. I usually see other kids in jeans/khakis so maybe I'm the one being judged but he likes to curl up in a ball when he naps and it doesn't look comfy in jeans.

Well, the pants soak up a good bit of what comes out of the diaper. Another layer of protection is another layer. If poop comes out of a diaper when a kid is in a onesie at the grocery store, the poop is on the grocery cart seat instead of on the inside of his pants.

LOL, the kid just looked so unhappy.
But I come from a family where Easter means we put our good jeans and t-shirts on.
I can't get my head around being so fucking uptight that you would judge onsies & sleepers. For fucks sake, take a xanax.
My DS lived in rompers and onsies in the summer. If your kid shits himself in the store and I dont get to it before it leaks everywhere then there are bigger parenting asshole problems.

Summary: babies are gross
I want to know how many times you've had poop get on a grocery cart.

Oh yes. This judgement is far more reasonable! Lol.

I dont get it. It's pretty easy. Your kid shits and you can smell it no? I usually bring wipes and a diaper in my purse whenever I leave the house.
My kid lived in sleepers and onesies (shorts optional!)his first 1.5 years of life. I rarely put him in "real clothes" when he was tiny because they just seemed so uncomfortable.
