ok....I need serious help. I'll be 35 & I think it's time I finallly took better care of my skin. So my birthday present is going to be to buy all new....uh, whatever I need!?!?
I don't wear make up daily... maybe 2-3 times per month +/- 2! When I do it is just, under eye concealer, powder, blush, mascara and some lip gloss. If I'm feeling really fancy I'll go for eye shadow. I don't have any type of daily routine to wash, moisture, or sunblock but I know I should.
Where should I Start? I was doing the Clique thing for a few years & then would just walk into Sephora and take whatever the salesperson sold me. I've got some Dior mascara that I like, some Mars (nars?? lol I have no clue) blush.
What do you suggest for daily wash, moisture? Any under eye miracle creams? I always, no matter how much sleep I get, have purple bags under my eyes. I need something simple & somebodyto help me.

tiramisu, sadly, I don't even know??? normal. It doesn't really feel oily at the end of the day and it's not dry.
I would recommend checking out Paula's Choice and their products for normal skin. A daily chemical exfoliant and adding antioxidants can both be beneficial. Sadly on the undereyes the best thing is a good concealer. There's no miracle product that will actually make them go away. The closest could be a retinol that's safe to use around the eyes.
Great- thanks tiramisu - I'll check out the retinol for xmas, after this baby gets here & I'm sure my eyes will have even bigger newborn-sleep-deprived bags!
Yes, carrotsmakemefat is right on with the Bobbi Brown corrector recommendations! It works better than anything else at concealing my dark circles. You might have to play with the application a little to find the best way for you and to make sure it doesn't crease, but it's so worth it.
Can anyone recommend a drugstore eyebrow pencil? I just discovered this AM that my beloved Anastasia Brow Wiz is almost gone and I'm not going to be able to get to Sephora or Ulta for a few days.

The Sonia Kashuk brow pencils at Target work pretty well for me.

So, I had to come back here and post this. Somewhere in this thread, long long ago, many of you dear, sweet CE&P ladies told me to wash my face with Cetaphil.
I was skeptical at first. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't grant you all the deference that your knowledge and experience warranted. I now, humbly, come to you all in my shame.
Holy shit, that stuff is amazing!!!!! My skin is practically blemish free and so incredibly soft. Never will I doubt you again CE&P, never.
