We're in the 18-24" area. And our furnace just died tonight.
Over the next seven days we're supposed to get over 3' of snow, if the forecasts are to be believed. After this storm they're saying another 1-3" Wednesday, 8-12" Friday, and 5-8" Saturday.
In jersey, supposed to get hit with anywhere from 8-24"! DD1s school just announced a half day tomorrow in anticipation. Snow supposed to start sometime tomorrow afternoon.
I think I am. And by "I think" I mean that I care so little about any fucking winter event, I can't even be troubled to.click the weather app on my phone. I'm on my second round of cough till you vomit virus and actually broke down and started the steroid treatments today. So, you know, for the next six says I am not at all responsible for what I do on this board.

Here's where I admit the most stupidly first world problem ever: I was supposed to have my hair done Tuesday afternoon and I'm disappointed that I will have to reschedule. Salon appointments are my zen. Sigh.

Oh no. Last time I was on steroids I legit grew a beard. Godspeed.
I don't think we're getting much. I won't know about delay until the morning. I highly doubt it will affect me despite the last forecast mentioning "several" inches.

We're guessing we'll get 8-12" based on current forecasts ( we have to guess because at our altitude, we almost always get 50-100% more than they tell us we'll get. We've already got a nice layer of slush/ice from the melting today so even if we only get a bit, we'll be stuck. DH said he thought he'd be back in the office Thurs--then he looked at the future forecast--maybe next week.
This is the part that sucks about working from home, as long as the power is on, I'm supposed to be working--no snow days:(
I don't know who to believe. I'm hearing anywhere from 2-3'.
Our heat pump is broken. They are coming to look at it tomorrow -but if it's part of the computer, they will have to order that. We can use the emergency heat setting, but it's going to cost us a fortune.

The unit is brand new!
It's like Murphy's Law; always right before a snowstorm. Hope it's an easy fix!
Thank goodness we have two woodstoves. We can keep it comfortable in here until the repair people come over tomorrow.
We are. I'm 20ish miles NE of Philly and the forecast here is 14-24". My mom is here to watch DD tomorrow and probably won't be able to go home until late Tuesday. I already have Tuesday off (I work pt) so I hope I can get to the liquor store on my way home tomorrow bc ~30 hours with her is usually my limit.
