J is such a great big brother. It really melts my heart. We were driving home from the ILs' house last night and Aubrey screamed almost the entire 20 minute drive. She eventually fell asleep. He kept saying, "it's okay, Aubs." Once we got close to home he said, "almost there, Aubs."
It was 80 degrees yesterday, today it is 37 degrees. It will be cold again tomorrow and back into the 70's for the weekend. The weather is nuts here during this time of year
It boggles my mind how different the weather is around the country! It's a high of 88 here today. I had my dessert tasting with our service staff yesterday, and it went very well. I'm feeling really good about things, but trying not to feel overly comfortable and confident about when we open our doors to the public in 6 days.

H is working from home and he doesn't have any calls he has to take, just computer work. So he said he can hang with H while I work on sorting clothes and moving things into T's new room. There goes being lazy on my snow day.
I am still mother effing sick. My interview is at 2 today, I am going to call the guy and make it a phone interview instead of in person. This is the worst timing. Ughhhhhh it makes me look so bad. But my stomach is making all these awful noises, I look like hell, and am still contagious. (And still getting sick). I have been crying all morning but that's from exhaustion
I'm not really looking forward to daylight saving this weekend, I like that it's getting light out by 6:30 in the morning now and it's still light until about 6:30 in the evening. I don't care that much about the evening until the snow is all gone and we can actually get out for a bit, I'd rather it be light in the morning right now.
Why are kid's clothing sizes so random? Andrew's wearing 3T pants right now. They're too short on him. But 4Ts are too big in the waist. And, I mean, Andrew's not a skinny kid. If I'm having issues getting the right size for him, I feel sorry for the people with tall, lanky kids.

I agree! I feel like I've hit the jackpot when I find pants that have the elastic adjustable tabs in the waist.

yeah this is a huge problem for my skinny child. I can not wait for shorts weather so I can stop worrying that all his pants are too short and just put him back in the 18mo shorts that don't fall down.

I'm mad and DH and have only spoken to him when necessary since Sunday. He is making no effort to see my side or understand why I'm upset. Now we are snowed in, GREAT!!
39 weeks today. Get out baby! Oh and my ms has returned, yayyy.
I want to see if pumping will work but I'm nervous to try. Nothing else is working, stupid old wives tales. Anyone try to induce via pumping?
This isn't why you want to hear, but I wouldn't try pumping. First of all, that sounds painful and miserable, but I've also heard it can cause pretty intense contractions. I'd only do it if you're already in labor and want to help speed things along or keep labor going. Hang in there, it has to be soon!

Yeah my ob said it's like administering your own pitocin drip. I think I'm more curios than anything. I probably won't end up trying yet but maybe will if I go over.

OMG, I'm so sorry Are you sure it's a bug? 3 days is a long time. I hope your interview goes well. I'm sure they will understand.
Thank you, I am not sure its a bug, I am kind of hoping its some sort of food poisioning, so that I can't get anyone else in the family sick. I have never had one last this long before. I am feeling a little bit better now. I got an email from the hiring manager and she wants to talk with me at 4, I freaked out at first, like I can't handle two interviews today while sick, but I think I can manage. I need to!

I had to stop nursing Daniel at 35 weeks because the contractions were just too painful when he nursed. Of course at 35 weeks I wasn't ready to have a baby, at 39 weeks I probably would have welcomed labour.

Pants look ridiculous on Owen. There's so much fabric bunched at the waist and they're still too short. He's going to need 3T for length soon and that's just going to be worse. We can only buy pants with the elastic adjusters in the waist!
Owen is on day 3 of fever and cough. I'd like to wait it out, but he was sad this morning. We've got an appointment with the NP at 10:10. I'm sure I'll get told that it's just a virus, but on the off chance there's something I'd feel bad if we didn't go.
