Yes, planned home birth. Not planned to be unassisted, but NO ONE made it in time! I'm the closest, but I'm glad I missed it. I would have been freaking the fuck out if I was the only one from the birth team there.
And I love you. Needed to hear that today. (heart)
I had a labor like your friend. I lived in constant fear of having a baby at Target.
I'd be completely happy birthing in public if it meant labor was an hour with no tearing.
A girl on one of the swap boards I'm on posted asking for any trailers or apartments that rent to felons, because she, her fiancé, and their baby need a place to live.
I'm judging. And I want to know what crime her fiancé committed. And why she's still with him.
I never buy or sell on that site (I use another one all the time) but I stay on there for the drama!

My brother has a non violent felony conviction from years ago, when he was undiagnosed with bipolar disorder and not getting the medicine he needs.
Should he just live alone in a box somewhere, or is it ok that he has a girlfriend and put his life back together?

I always said that having to change diet was my line. Obviously I can't say for sure since I wasn't in that situation, but it seemed a lot worse than the 12 weeks of pain and 3 months of oral motor therapy I had to do for DS.
I have suffered from ulcerative colitis for almost 20 years. Diet modifications are par for the course in my life, so having to cut out a bunch of stuff while BFing to discourage recurring thrush, while annoying and sometimes frustrating, was still a lot better than the times when I've had to be on a liquid diet for weeks at a time. But I can definitely see how going gluten-free, dairy-free and just about everything else-free would seem insane to almost anyone else.
I have ulcerative colitis too. It was easy to cut out vegetables and bran. Milk? No way.
Because I had 3 hours from contraction #1 to 10 cm and ready to push. (Thankfully my water broke earlier so we were at the hospital, lol.) I am somewhat nervous about #2 coming, like, on the kitchen floor or in my tub. My midwife keeps telling me it will be fine. I think she forgets I live 25-30 minutes from the hospital, LOL.
My first labour was 4.5-5 hours, and the second was about 3 hours total, but only 45 minutes from when they broke my water (I was induced).

im not having a third. Lol.
Okay, holy shit. Note to self, if water breaks, go to the hospital immediately. And hope it doesn't happen while H is at work, because it takes him 15 or 20 minutes to get home, then we live 25-30 minutes from the hospital.
Guys. I hope I don't end up with a kitchen floor baby. We have wood floors. LOL

I didn't know my water broke. Baby was so low, she corked it.
Oh, am I contributing to your nervous breakdown? Sorry.
I saw 50SOG yesterday. With a (female) friend. Friend's H and my H watched our 2 babies while we were gone. When we got home, I made dinner for us all, then they went home. Once they left, I told DH one scene in the movie made me "hot and bothered", while the rest was a bit much, and for a moment he was intrigued. Then he thought about it and said "honeyyyy I'm so tired, not tonight". Isn't that supposed to be my line?
Disclaimer: Before anyone gets their hackles up, I don't support anything but consensual relationships. I don't like male dominance/control of women (or female control of men for that matter) for the sake of demeaning them, etc., etc., etc.
I keep forgetting to ask what it was that got you all hot and bothered!! TELL US!!!!
And are you going to do it tonight?!?!
Haha I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who wants to see it and hasn't. And no, we didn't. DH got home from work at 8 (for reference he usually gets home ~5:30-6), ate dinner, and went to sleep. Whomp whomp
