I'm so tired this morning. Both DDs were up at some point through the night. If I didn't have meetings scheduled for this morning I would be back in bed. Hand me the coffee.
I let Ethan sleep 5+ hours. No regrets. We all needed some time to recharge.
Lip tie surgery in a couple of hours. Wish us luck!
I'm sorry about the need for the surgery. It sounds like you've been blessed with a great sleeper though! Holy moly at the thought of five straight hours at that age
In the first twenty minutes since I got Lane out of bed he: hit me, kicked me, threw his (hard plastic) toy, screamed and made me drag him to the other side of the gate. And the power was out, so no coffee. Omg. Luckily, the power came back on, so I have coffee now and he is running around on his own. I have no idea what got into him this morning. I'm glad I can put him to bed for an early nap since we are going to the water park/splash pad when it opens at 11.
Woke up at 5:45 & had time to watch trash TV & make eggs this morning. Today is DH 'a first day at his new job & he is nervous so I am letting him hog the upstairs bathroom.
I am leaving work early for a meeting & them coming right home after.
Low carb is hard. What am I supposed to order at this lunch meeting?
For the second morning in a row I woke up in pain. I'm not sure what's happening in my sleep, but I keep waking up with a very stiff neck. Maybe I need new pillows- again! I bought nicer pillows in the spring, but maybe I need to really splurge and buy some ridiculously expensive magic pillow?
The good news is that DS slept from 11:00 ish on. He went down at his usual time, but for whatever reason was up and crying at 11, right as I was getting comfy in bed. I'm scared to death to see what happens to his sleep next week on our road trip.
DS is sick, but seems to be managing okay. He STTN 9-6:45, that's pretty good for him on a normal day, let alone sick. I tried to go to bed early, so I fed DD at 9:30 instead of 10:30 like usual (she usually sleeps 11-8am, amazing). But today she woke up at 5am. I need to learn not to disrupt her routine!
DS has just recently gotten obsessed with the Duplos he got for his birthday back in February. It's adorable. Yesterday he stuck a bunch of them together in a random configuration and declared it was a plane. It doesn't look anything like a plane, but I'm praising him anyway.
jackie011 I love my Tempurpedic neck pillow. It has completely eliminated my morning neck stiffness. It has also helped DH's snoring. I highly recommend it!
I actually got a pretty good night of sleep, which was awesome. I'm working from home in the morning and a tile guy is supposed to stop by to look at my tile issues (grout is the wrong color in part of my bathroom and the kitchen backsplash needs redone in an area). I have to head out to a meeting this afternoon.
I'm supposed to fly out of town Thursday so I'm hoping I don't have any contraction issues again so that I can still go. I will be calling my OB tomorrow to make sure they are still ok with it. The PA at the hospital said she thought it was fine as long as I am not contracting over the next few days, but that it's really my OB's call.
This famous guy came into my store last week. I have no idea who he is and I wanted to say 'are you on TV?' But that would have been weird. When he left, my coworker agreed that he was from television but we can't figure out who he is. It's annoying when you can't search for something on google. He is 50-60, southern accent, tall, looks like a cross between Jeff foxwortby and major dad. He hAs hair.
H and J both had low grade fevers last night. I'm hoping I don't get it. I really thought J's was from getting his 15 month shots in the morning. Somehow he's still sleeping, so I'll check his temp when he decides to wake up.

The ENT we saw yesterday recommended surgery to fix I's breathing issue, in hopes that that will also correct the eating and weight gain issue. We're headed to the pedi's office now to confirm that he agrees. Isaac's in the 2 percentile, and I the ENT said we are about to be discussing a FTT issue.
J is really into all things numbers and counting lately. He has taken to singing this Mickey clubhouse song that counts backwards from 100 by 10s. Except it goes like this to him: "100, 90, 80, 70, 60, five-d, 40, 30, 20, 10, 0" lol. I Crack up at five-d every time.
Boy am I not excited to go in to work today. I haven't checked my email in a week and I'm dreading what it may say.
I learned to wake surf last week at the lake! But I think the board came up and hit me on the boob as I fell while learning. I have the most incredible purple and yellow bruise right near my nipple.
I also got up to pee 3 times last night. What the hell, bladder.
@this. You are adorable! And the glasses are cute! I just bought one similar to that in purple...so I hope they're still in. I do not look good in hipster frames. I tried.
Today is Mommy Ruby day. This afternoon we are going to a puppet show at the library (which you have to be 4 to attend. DD is close enough. DS is nowhere near it). DS is going to Grandmas. After the puppet show I'm taking her to the pool to do the big slides we can't do when DS is along. Fun times.
I really need to clean for DDs birthday this weekend but I don't want too. It's so nice out. The clutter is picked up so it's not bad, but everything needs a good deep clean and vacuum.
@supergreen where did you get that? I saw that there's a memory foam pillow featured in the Costco booklet, so I was going to buy that. I'm willing to try anything at this point.
