She sounds just like my niece. And the reason no one will offer my niece a couch to crash on is because she has used every single person for every little bit she could get out of them and then moves on. I am guessing Bliss is the same, she has used her family and friends so they just won't help her anymore.
Or she just made up all this for the attention. Fuck.
Can someone please bookmark this post when Bliss returns in a few weeks all sunshine and roses and unicorn farts? Because, if you remember, deep down she's a HAPPY person.

I have all the books I could need, and what more could I need than books? I shall only engage in commerce if books are the coin. -- Catherynne M. Valente
I love how the first couple pages are people offering helpful advice, and her screaming fuck you and DIAF at everyone and that she's already thought of a, b, and c. But never once had she mentioned she'd looked into a, b, or c already. Didn't you know you should all be mind-readers?
Freaking nuts. I'm sure you're still reading bliss - grow the mother fuck up.
Telling people to DIAF is gross and incredibly immature. And why do you think people were telling you you're dramatic? Maybe because you go off the deep end over something that while yes, it's stressful, should not cause you to behave like a two year old throwing a tantrum and slinging DIAF and fuck yous all over a message board. Most normal people would gobble up every tiny bit of advice offered in the post. You chose to act like a child.
A 15-day notice can be used if the tenant is on a month to month agreement or a period other than a month-to-month and that period is coming to an end and the landlord wants the tenant to move out when the period is over. The landlord does not have to have a reason for wanting the tenant to move. The notice must be served at least 15-days prior to the end of the rental period. Otherwise, the tenant can stay until the end of the next rental period.
NOTE: The landlord needs to make certain that any written rental agreement signed by the tenant does not contain a provision longer than fifteen days. Many written month to month rental agreements contain a notice requirement of 30 days. If it does, the landlord needs to give the longer notice contained in the agreement.
What this means is that even if you are month-to-month, your landlord must give you written notice to vacate with 15 days left in the rental period. If they do not, you can stay until the end of the rental period. So, since your LL has not yet given you written notice, you can stay in the apartment until at least the end of next month. If they don't give you written notice by Sept. 15th, you can stay until the end of October.
I would email your landlord that since you have not been given a 15-Day Notice to Quit, you are legally allowed to stay in the apartment. Print out the email and make copies of the relevant pages from the Utah Tenants Guide - mail all of it to your LL via certified mail (costs $2). I would urge you to take these steps rather than sit back and do nothing and get evicted - because as a LL myself, I don't rent to people with prior evictions. If you are already dealing with poor credit I would not compound your future ability to rent any further.
I was going to post what vanilla just did. And if you are worried about your possessions, I'd suggest storing them elsewhere, even in a friend's garage.
Did he ever give you a reason for making you move?
In your situation, i'd just suck it up and finance a used car.
You blocked me from GBCN while at work. Thank you very much.
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the frequent swearing on this board, makes it NSFW. I have coworkers that can see my screen at any time. Annoying.
I assumed that the fact that her landlord was Middle Eastern was relevant because of cultural differences and/or language barriers. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that he was not of middle eastern decent but was a recent immigrant who may not know the laws and may have issues communicating effectively. But maybe not.
I will also say in Bliss's defense that if she's worked at her job for 2 months she's probably been paid less than 4k. Not really enough to buy a car and put down first month's rent plus deposit. Surely we can understand that position.
I have no excuse for the rest of the tantrum here. Bliss, I hope once you calmed down you feel better and can speak rationally or take a break from this site again. I thought you had been doing pretty well lately with staying calm posting here.
This is too funny..wasn't Bliss just posting earier about flying to visit a friend in Texas? Yet she has no money to move, put down a deposit or buy a car?
Oh stop deactivating. It's annoying. If you were homeless we would hear about them conspiring to boot your ass to another cardboard box, gathering at your shopping cart to pre-slum and some dude you are banging who lives under another bridge -- but an hour away.
I apologize in advance for stereotyping homeless folks.
Can I just ask, why are we wasting time posting to her? She's a professional victim and clearly needs more help than we can offer. Maybe if we just ignore her next time, she'll reach out to someone who really can help her in her community? Clearly she needs real life help more than online contacts, as she won't listen to us no matter what.

Doesn't anyone remember: last week Bliss said she was borrowing her mother's car to go look for apartments.
Bliss, I know you don't want/need advice, but what about the person you carpool to work with, why can't you stay on their couch/floor for a few days? Then you don't have to worry about the drive from your "friends" house to work.

Let's play "Guess Bliss's Response":That won't work because fuck you.
Seriously, Bliss, if you're reading this, I'll donate $2000 to buy you a car or a first-and-last-months-rent if you promise never to post again.
