Can she still work once she marries him? I Know nothing about royalty so I don't know how busy she would be, but just wondering if she would have royal duties all the time that would prevent acting.

She already left or is leaving her show (Suits) to move from Toronto to London or something. I do wonder if she’ll still sometimes act.
Also, spring seems tough if Kate has a baby in April. I was thinking late May, but that’s a month or less out for her.
Speculation is Kate is farther along then we are being led to believe (closer to 5 months then 3) and this would fit with that. 6-8 weeks out wouldn’t be too bad.
Yes it’s typical for Clarence House to announce as Prince Charles is the Parent. The announcement always comes from the parents PR.

Awww. I don't think I've ever felt so happy for people I don't know! lol
I hope they do engagement photos like Will and Kate did. I am so excited to start seeing her fashion choices now that she'll be out and about in an official capacity.
eta: I can't wait to see her engagement ring. I just read that Harry had it made using diamonds from a piece of jewelry that once belonged to his mother. So sweet and thoughtful.
I'm like 99% yay because I think it will mean more MM coverage and I love her. I'm 1% boo because I love her on suits. But the 1% is tempered by the fact that I'm guessing this will mean more Harvey and Donna and I find their relationship much more interesting than Rachel and Mike's.
So exciting! Interesting wording that he "informed" the queen.
That’s standard William’s said the same ‘informed’ just mean she was told that the proposal was accepted. He would have asked her permission prior to proposing.
I'm very excited. Lol. When gma announced it they showed a video of the three walking into an event with Will and Kate side by side and Harry alone and I thought "good, no more sad lonely Harry."
I'm excited to see what she wears for the press event and interview tonight. That's got to be stressful since people *still* remember Kate's blue dress.
Also it was nice to wake up to good news for a change and not to angry tweets or something.
I am so excited about this. Cant wait to see what she wears to the press call/interview tonight.
I am hoping the wedding is while I am off to maternity leave, this way I can stay up to watch it since their weddings typically happen on a weekday and I wont be a zombie at work after.
I get that they are in love, but I would never volunteer for this public abuse. I would not be able to keep my mouth shut.
...a comment in the Mail On Sunday by Rachel Johnson that said if the couple had children “the Windsors will thicken their watery, thin blue blood and Spencer pale skin and ginger hair with some rich and exotic DNA”.

Well, that would only be if they have a church wedding, which I don't think is likely since she is divorced.

Sources are saying it is likely to be a church wedding

Isn't kind of the whole point of the [founding of the] Church of England to allow divorce and remarriage?

Only speculation at this point but everything I have been reading is saying they are likely to have a church wedding.

Ditto, not wanting to be in the public eye like this.
And EW at that comment. I was listening to the radio this morning on my drive into work and it was included in Q104's quick little news roundup, and they included the sentence, "It won't be a typical royal wedding, as the mother of the bride has dreadlocks and a nose ring." Who the fuck cares??

In a convoluted way, yes, but not officially! LOL. Hence why Prince Charles and Camilla only had a civil ceremony. And also I thought that was why Princess Anne was remarried in the Church of Scotland, but maybe the CoE has changed since then.
