Las Vegas, NM is always where I started to nod off and I wanted to stick a convenience store spork in my eye when driving from Denver to Santa Fe to visit SO before he moved up here. Shit hole does it a little bit too much justice.
SUCH a shithole. My H and I always joke about heading up to Vegas for a weekend.

I need to go in and ask about some different medication. We moved to a totally different climate + altitude last summer and since then it seems like they are more severe and I am more sensitive to my triggers. Maybe it's a coincidence, but still I need to do something.
This has been a horrible migraine week. I have missed half my workouts and I suck at work because even with the meds I can just barely put on the appearance of being alive.
This.exactly. I'm on day 3 of a migraine myself.
Day 3 for me as well. Good luck, dude. It has to end sometime, right?
Love the mountains, the climate, the number of beautiful hiking places within driving distance, the restaurants, the historic buildings, the cost of living. I also love how easy it is to get around here compared to the last place I lived.
I have lived in the same city as you nearly all of my life and I can count on one hand how many times I have been to the mountains or hiking for that matter. The mountains are beautiful. I think they are most beautiful at sunset.
Oh man, we go almost every weekend. I love it, that is one of the reasons I wanted to move here in the first place.

Ugh, no! She was so fucking horrible and insane. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of someone who kind of looks like her and it makes my stomach drop. I hate that bitch.
If you could 're-do' anything in your life, would you?
Hmmm.
There are a few things I would unsay if I could, and I would have made more of an effort to spend time with my grandparents. But overall it's hard for me to want to redo anything because I love my life right now and that stuff is part of what got me here.
Maybe I would have also started working out when I was 23 instead of 33.
What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?
Oh, lots of things. I really like it here.

I can't wait to live somewhere that is new and clean! It also has pretty big windows. I like big windows. And the kitchen is in the front of the house, so H can see when I'm pulling up and come help me get Joanna and all our crap out of the car. I want to get some new couches when we move too.
Unrelated - I bought stuff for gin and tonics tonight and then remembered I had no ice.
Hey! Maybe the new fridge will have an icemaker!
I dream of someday having a fridge with an ice maker.
I'll never be able to smoke weed again. That makes me kinda sad, and amazed because I never would have thought I'd ever say something like that.
No more meth either!! LOL
I have to remove DH's surgical bandage tomorrow and it's kinda grossing me out.
The nurses at the hospital were so awesome. What food would be best to show our appreciation? Something healthy (like a fruit platter) or something sinful like danish & pastries?
Ooh, good luck with the bandage. That stuff is so gross yet fascinating.
I would get them a treat. I mean, yeah, fruit is healthier, but pastries seem like a reward. No one ever swarms a fruit bowl.

My H isn't home, so he has been spared all of this.
ALSO, speaking of H, I am so happy and proud of him and his new job. He is doing so well and it is a great feeling to see him so motivated after 8 months of discouraging unemployment.

Hmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Seeing my H with little tears in his eyes as he said his vows to me was a pretty good one. And, as I think I've said before, the few minutes I had with my dad right after my defense.
