Chug chug chug the mother's milk tea. When I first started drinking it, I would make it,let it cool, then chug it like a frat boy would chug cheap beer.
If you're positive it's supply related you can take a nursing vacation to stay home and nurse skin to skin all dau for three days.
not with these specific strollers, but i have a sit n stand for mine that are 20mos apart, and i 90% love it. the functionality is great bc i can't get bjl to sit still most the time anyway.
i love both my kids names, except sometimes i wonder why i bothered even naming them. we call my daughter by her chinese name more (which is traditionally assigned by paternal grandpa), and my son we call him "little brother" in chinese...so we use neither of their legal names.
we decided on bjl's first name before we officially started dating, so that was easy..her middle name we decided when the nurse said "either turn in the paperwork now, or mail it in within 2 weeks". i'm not excited about it, but it works.
boys name we had a lot of struggle with, and didn't name him until a few days before he was born. i was very very unhappy with all name choices until the last few days. i was pretty depressed that there wasn't a name that we loved, but i do love it now. his middle name had been decided for years, though (FIL's first name).
@uwhuskygirl-- you would have links to dirty feet girl! I tried googling her before but was unable to find it.
And what??! Jenny pays for the room? Cause I paid for my room (silver cloud Mukilteo) 6 years ago during a marathon session (4girls). What were the questions, I don't remember. Worth every penny.
hey there, i got a notification on my phone! yay for downloading the app!
i haven't intentionally abandoned you...we had someone on our team at work who was underperforming, so the easier way instead of firing him, was to transfer him out...so now he is someone else's problem..but i've taken on his entire work load, and am essentially working two jobs...except i'm still doing it in 8-10 hours, so i just get no more free time. i pop in every once in a while, but honestly i don't even get to clicking any threads before i'm buried. and now when i look...there's too many to catch up on, it's exhausting.
i got my secret santa gift in the mail yesterday from karebear219, and it is PERFECT! i texted her to say thank you, and wanted to get on here today, but haven't had a chance.
hope everyone is doing well. don't let this board die!
i love onesies for the same reason you do @firemanjammies. my almost 3yo still wears them...we don't buckle them underneath her anymore..but they are just a good layering piece.
omg alias, what is your secret??! bjl STILL won't leave the laptop alone. we can't use it when she's in the room. we only use it in the closed office doors....which is why i'm NEVER on a computer at home anymore.
jennlin Just got back from ped appt. She said more poop can indicate something is up, but the characteristics are more telling and it's probably just a (non-problematic) effect of foods. She very much preferred we wait until 12mo to introduce dairy or soy (which we did), but is not at all concerned that this is an indication of persisting intolerance. How that helps The diaper rash thing, though, isn't something I can comment on. J gained 13 oz in the past month, so is up to 5% overall (which I think is ~21%bf).
well i started noticing the more poops when we started his iron supplements, so i attributed it to that..but since you said your babe was doing the same, maybe it was an age thing. i don't remember bjl going through multiple poops in a day. they don't seem to be painful or anything, he just still hates poopy diapers, so we just have to change him right away.
i'm worried about what she's doing..... he needs rest during the day, too. while it's perfectly safe for him to STTN now, if it's not natural for him, it's probably not good for his development.
cdmay we also increased poops from 1x's to 3-4xs or more a day. it's a pain for cloth diapers!!! i dislike washing this many poops in a day. my little one is also doing better on dairy/soy. i gave him straight yogurt the other day, and he did fine..but since i reintroduced soy about 6 weeks ago, he gets little hives on his butt when he poops...i feel like i need to cut the soy again..but i just can't. soy is SO hard.
i'm currently going through teething hell with my boy..very little sleep in our house, but oh well. bjl is doing good. MIL bought bjl a disney princess figurine set with changeable outfits from costco...and she played with that over 2 hours quietly, so i'm glad that MIL is getting a little break, too, since my boy has not been very nice to her.
i need to make an allergy appointment. we skipped the flu shot for egg sensitivities for the boy...i don't know the deal, but his skin has been amazing lately. not amazing-amazing, but amazing for him. other than the diaper rash from teething....but...you win some, you lose some.
My little one has been teething a storm.....I think. Who knows. He has had a fever off on sat and sun, with excessive drooling, cranky as all he'll Monday, and Monday night. I ended up taking today off work bc I barely slept last night. He's still being cranky today. Bjl did not teethe this hard.
dana86, I would say seats for about 75% of adult guests would be sufficient.
cdmay where do you get your glow bracelets? i used to buy the 15pack from michaels, with a 40% coupon..i used to buy them for my dogs for camping..but i haven't been in a while to see if they still have them. i know target has them in the $1 section, but i don't know how many are in the tube.
we had boys 12mos visit last week, and we ended up skipping the flu shot because of his egg sensitivity. he referred us to an allergist, and we will need to make an appointment for him soon. he is 80%ile height 30%ile weight, so he's tall and lean.
bjl got her flu nose mist thingy. it was super easy, and she didn't even notice it. all week, we were prepping her up for a shot, and when the dr came in, she rolled up her sleeve and was ready. it was adorable. we didn't know the mist would be an option for us.
no major milestones for bjl. boy seems to understand a lot of what we say, and that's awesome.
i'm not sure about logistics yet. i like to give out non-candy items..so far i have bubbles, stickers, and stamps..but h is going to the store today to fill in the gaps with candy, but i told him to look for some non-candy, too. if you haven't already picked out what you're giving out, don't forget about kids with food allergies.
