Did you turn your wifi off at all? The only times I've gone over is if I turned off my wifi for some reason (or my son did) and then forgot to turn it back on. My son did this last month and blew threw all our data in 5 days. I was not happy.
I think there might be a way to check to see which app it was in your app manager under settings, but that varies by phone.
You might have to talk to someone there, but make sure you bring some postmarked mail with your new address on it.
Yes, I literally moved down the street. Same street even, just a different number. We only have one polling location for the whole town so that didn't change either. I was thinking of taking my car's registration, that has my new address on it.
I'll be voting in a few hours. I WAH so I'll be going after my morning meeting. I'm usually the youngest there by a large margin, but I always figured (hoped) it was the time of day I go.
Does anyone know if I'm going to have an issue because the address on my license doesn't match my actual address? I moved in July and updated everything but haven't gotten a new license. It's hard to find a straight answer but since I supposedly could use a credit card with my signature, I'm thinking I should be okay. I hope so anyway.
I have the Pro 500 and have been wanting the 600 for a while. I really shouldn't be spending the money but.....
FYI The one on sale on Amazon is not the 600. QVC has a really good deal on the 600 right now. I got it last week for $30 less on the TSV, but this is still a great deal.
I keep watching the news story about those kids killed when that car blew past a bus yesterday. It makes me sick to my stomach. I've watched cars speed past my own kids bus many times and thank God no one has ever been hurt. My heart is just broken for this family. I don't understand why this happens. Why are people in so much of a rush that they put children at risk?
One time, my H was at the bus stop and a car blew past the bus with it's lights on and stop arm extended. He hopped in his truck and followed the car. It pulled into the school parking lot. The driver worked at the school! With my kids! He gave her a piece of his mind, but left it at that. She cried that she was sorry and that she was running late. I mean, what in the actual hell! I would've marched right in to that school and reported her to the principal.
I was almost in tears reading that story to my FI. We live on a busy main road and the amount of cars that go past the bus when it has its lights on is unreal.
I had them out at 21. I didn't think it was too horrible at all, but that doesn't seem to be the norm. I took a week off of work, but tried to go back after 3 days. I probably could have, but I wasn't really eating so I was very tired and just out of it.
My FI is trying to teach me to drive a standard, and I completely suck at it. I'm fine at shifting gears but everything else is just bad. I'm also not sure if maybe he is just not a good teacher for me lol. He's been driving standards his whole life and is used to all different kinds (drives dump trucks, construction equipment, etc), and I'm not sure he gets that I don't know what I'm doing.
I wish my parents had taught me when I was learning to drive. They taught my brother but not me.
A friend taught me how to drive a stick and it clicked when she said "it's like a see-saw for your feet", lol. She was the BEST teacher (she *was* a teacher, so I guess that helped)

TMI alert. I'm really annoyed at my body. My FI and I have a very rare completely kid free weekend, and I just started to spot. I always get my period on the weekend. Why can't it just come during the week FFS?! *sigh*
Leeham Rimes, I really need a new phone too, but don't want to pay the monthly payment or a million dollars for one. I think it's a good idea that you waited! I just really wish they were still free like they used to be lol!
Is this weekly chef thing only local? I would love something like that. I thought about doing hello fresh or something but I just don't want to cook at all.
You can see if you have Freshly available in your area. It’s all prepared, you just heat it up.
Thank you! I will look into this.
Edit: Well boo. I got this message: Coming soon… To a kitchen near you
Great news! We’re currently working on opening another kitchen so we can deliver directly to your home in xxx. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

I think it is, which is a shame b/c they're pretty great (Fitlife Foods is the name, they're throughout Florida but not outside it).
I also hated the boxed meals, like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron b/c I still have to MAKE it all. There's a program called Tovala or something but it's SUPER pricey b/c you have to buy their special oven. I was looking into that when I happened to find an ad for the program I use now.
Yeah that's exactly my issue with it lol. I don't want to make it!
My boobs keep shrinking and I AM NOT HAPPY. I mean, come ON. Yes, I want to lose weight, but from LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE! Bah.
I broke down and am paying for a weekly chef service to deliver meals to me and H. I hate cooking THAT much. But really, it's not a terrible price, only $100 a week. I don't know that I'll keep it forever and ever, but so far the meals are tasty and healthy and I don't have to do anything but heat it up. Also makes me realize that I have NO IDEA what an actual portion size is, lol. No wonder I need(ed) to lose 30 pounds, lol!!! (still have a ways to go)

Teaching today and then going to my mom's old house to try and get a ton of stuff out of it. You guys, this is all so overwhelming to me (I think I have some ADD) that it is hard to get started. I need to take some stuff to a consignment store to see if they will take some of it on, box up a bunch for Goodwill and waiting to hear from the estate liquidators about the rest. ugh
Oh and since I am still bringing things to my house that need to be sorted between me and my sister and making sure things to shred are indeed things to shred, my house is a total wreck. I am drowning in paper and stuff.
When my grandfather died, my mom and aunts contacted a local ministry. That ministry came and took EVERYTHING. Just a thought for anything you have left over that can't be sold. Maybe there is something similar near you.
I had my youngest DS's birthday party this weekend at a laser tag place and it's crazy to me how many people brought their other kids. Luckily they all paid for their own extra ones, but shouldn't you at least let me know when you RSVP? I felt bad because I didn't have enough goodie bags for all the kids even though my fiance says I shouldn't since I had enough for the party guests. IDK is this a normal thing now?
pandora89 that sounds plain awful. I bet your cousin was really upset.
I'm exhausted. Moving day is tomorrow, and I barely have half my house packed up. It doesn't help that it was in the 100s yesterday. And I just got a phone call from the school saying I will have to fill out a notary form since I'm moving in with my FI and am not on the mortgage or lease so there's not real proof I live there. Like I don't have enough to do. Moving SUCKS.
esdreturns , Check your lease. Mine very clearly stated what my responsibilities were when I moved out, and all it really said was "Broomswept" and a few other EXPECTED things like carpets vacuumed, toilets flushed (ew, the fact that they even needed to put that in). Clean garage floor? Yeah, no.
Thanks, I didn't even think of this. It doesn't say anything besides I have to make sure all my stuff is gone.
I bought a bikini for my vacation at the end of August. In no way, shape, or form do I have a bikini body. And honestly, even if I lose the 20lbs that I'm aiming for prior to vacation, I still won't have a bikini body. I have do idea what I was thinking.
You know what? Good for you. I say you rock that bikini. Who is to say what a bikini body is anyway?
esdreturns - I just saw a FB post about using Monster energy drink to remove oil from a garage floor. I don't think it's a reasonable request. I think that it would be along the lines of wear and tear for carpet; some staining is bound to happen but if you poured an entire quart of oil on the floor then that would be a problem. I required my tenants to hire professional cleaners BUT it was written in the lease.
Oh cool, thanks. I will give that a try. I might have my fiance call his cousin's girlfriend and see if she can come over and clean (that's her job). I'm so stressed out that I don't really want to deal with it. This place still looks really good, I barely hung anything on the walls, it doesn't need to be re-painted. I guess I'm just annoyed that it wasn't "tenant-ready" for me, but I have to make it so for the next person. *sigh*
I saw a video for the new Motorola Razr that is supposedly coming out soon. It looks awesome, and I really hope they make it! This probably doesn't help you if you need a new phone ASAP though.
I am moving on the 3rd and IDK if my landlord is being slightly unreasonable or not. He sent me a list of 10 things I have to make sure are done. At first, it's make sure the place is broomswept. Okay no problem. But then it goes on to cleaning everything to make it tenant ready. Basically scrub everything down. Now, I obviously wasn't going to leave the place a mess, but I had to scrub this place when I moved in because it was NOT clean. He even wants me to run the dishwasher a few times empty so that's clean.
The best one was scrubbing the garage floor to remove all oil and gas stains. Is this one reasonable? I don't think it is, but it's been a long time since I rented so maybe it is. If so, how the heck do I do that??
OP - I don’t have any good advice. I’ve gone evenings without snacking only to be standing at the pantry shoveling handfuls of cereal into my mouth just before bed I’ve seriously considered trying hypnosis. My best (of the worst) advice is to not buy the junk to begin with. I often fail at that, too. Or I’ll get a not AS bad form of junk - those 60 cal low fat fudge pops instead of a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. Or dark chocolate squares. I don’t even LIKE dark chocolate so I don’t want to eat more than one.
I recently did hypnosis to quit drinking diet coke and it actually worked really well! I still crave it to some extent, but nothing like before. I was a bit sceptical about hypnosis, but nothing else has ever worked for me.
That's really interesting! I would love to try something like that to help with my huge sweet tooth.
It's a Neurofeedback Therapy place. They also do ADHD based therapy. It's called the Neurovation Center. Do you mind telling me why you didn't follow through? it's most likely going to cost me a lot of money since my insurance only covers the therapy portion.
Thanks-there are a couple around here but they don't take insurance. Financially it's not feasible for me right now. He's 6.5 and I also wondered how accurate it was going to be if he just had one of his IDGAF days and doesn't put forth any effort to answering the questions/completing the tasks.
There were things I definitely found valuable when I got the results from the initial assessment-he has a visual/auditory processing issue, and the issues were very black and white based on the testing. There were a few things I didn't even think I could do (item flashes on the screen for 1.5 seconds, then you have to choose it from a group of 4) depending on the day/mood, so I took some things with a grain of salt. I have held on to his assessment and am going to show it to the OT when we finally get in for a consult there.
One of the things I struggled with with both biofeedback and BB was that if you are training your brain NOW-how sustainable is it for the long term? Is it something that needs to be revisited as he grows and matures?
Oh yeah, that's a lot. It's going to be about ~$6.5k for me. I'm also very mixed on whether to spend the money or not. I know it worked for his friend but......
You know, none of the doctors we have seen have given me a list of books to read. That would be helpful, so I am definitely following this.
Has anyone mentioned bio-feedback to you? I had never heard of it, but my DS has a friend in his class that was diagnosed ADHD and his mom said it worked wonders for him. They were even able to get him off meds. I have an appointment for my DS on Wednesday, but I'm both hopeful and skeptical.
What kind of place are you going to? I am curious because we went to Brain Balance and didn't follow through (there was also a huge NPR article on this last week)-but the psychologist that did DS' testing is pushing it as an option.

My DS has a party on Friday for a friend in his class. I didn't realize this friend is a triplet and the party is a joint party for all 3. I don't have to bring gifts for the other 2 kids, do I? I'm moving next week and things are tight right now.
I have triplets and you absolutely do not need to bring a present for all three! Last year the kids invited individual friends from their classes to their party and most only brought the triplet that invited them a present. It still ended up being way too much presents and this year we are going to tell people in lieu of gifts they can bring a toy if they want and we are donating to a local children's charity.
Thank you!! My DS is at an age where if you invite one kid, you have to invite them all. I think all three kids are in different classes so I don't even want to know how many kids are going to be running around at this party lol. They will probably need a whole car just to bring back all the stuff (unless they get mostly gift cards lol).

We went to a twin party and the majority of people only brought for the kid their kid knew. A few bought for both. I did for both but bc I found a really (really, really) good sale on something he wanted and also bc I didn’t know protocol.
Okay that's good to know. I would just hate it if I was the only one that only brought a present for one kid and not the others. Thanks!
