Eh, I see both sides here.

On one hand, makeup/twirlies/etc have been huge topics on MM & I know that people were annoyed with them. I get why they wanted the sub-board. And so far we have just been letting boards do their own thing here, so I'm not really interested in telling them that they can't have whatever sub-boards they want. It's their board.

On the other, we have a beauty board here & this isn't the nest, so I'm not sure why it matters if you were a reg over there or not. There's really no reason why all of the MM people who are interested in makeup talk can't post there. If they all moved there, then the excuse that the beauty board is stupid wouldn't be valid anymore.

seriously? I am on multiple boards on here, INCLUDING posting on F&B. Having subboards doesn't mean we are shutting ourselves off from everything else. Its just one of 20 boards I've viewed today. You are really making a mountain out of a molehill.

I think the hand-holding puppies and rainbows aspect of the defection is now done and we need to create new drama. Frankly I don't give a flying fuck whether an active board wants to create sub-boards. I am kind of jealous that I don't think we have a population big enough to handle one ourselves. Oh I don't think they should be forbidden from having a sub-board if they choose to. I just think it's dumb as shit.

I also think pixy has a valid point. If MM wants to be so insular as to create their own culture as they are oh so very different from the rest of us ::eyeroll:: why come over with the rest of us?

Seems like too many subboards. Why would anyone post on the main beauty and fashion board if everyone just posts in their home board? It's just segregating us into little cliques. This board is new... It takes people sometime to venture over to the other topics. I dislike all these little subboards that keep popping up.
