I'm digging all the classic names that are coming back into style. I met a one year-old girl named Evelyn at the park this weekend. I also like Henry, Helen, Grace and Albert.
H's goddaughter's name is Olivia, and I love it. I have really been loving Vivienne and Amelia. I like Frances for a middle name (this was my granny's name).
I don't really have any boys' names that I'm in love with.
“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
I love Cora, and may push for that if this baby is a girl. I love Olivia, but it's just way too popular around here- siblings of three of DD's preschool classmates, a coworker's new baby, etc.

H and I cannot agree on names. He wants something "unique" and while I'm not opposed to unique, I refuse to consider names that are not obviously pronounceable in English. He's always throwing out suggestions of soccer player names. He likes to harass me by suggesting ridiculous names like Iker ("Eeker"), Zlatan, Xavi (sha-vee). Actually, he's dead serious about Xavi. ^o)
My favorite names tend to be biblical, though I have no idea why. Elijah/Eli, Ezekiel/Zeke, Jonah, Judah, Silas....
Also, clearly, neither of us cares about girls' names.

I just made a list the other day. For girls I like: Olivia, Sophia, Matilda, Charlotte, Lucy, Alice, Audrey, Norah, Grace, and Lillian. For boys I like: Oliver, Caleb, Liam, Malcolm, and James.
My H loves the name Isla for a girl but wants to spell it Ayla. I've told him that people will think her name is pronounced eh-la but he is insistent that people will pronounce Ayla eye-la like is intended. I think he is crazy.
