It's really the Bernie Bros that get to me. I don't dislike Bernie. I will absolutely, without-a-doubt vote for him in the general if he is the nominee. What is so frustrating to me is that most Clinton supporters seem to have a similar attitude and recognize that their second-choice Democrat is better than any of the GOP options. But so many of the Bernie Bros I've encountered are convinced that Bernie is perfect, that Clinton is evil, and that if the nominee isn't Bernie, they might as well not vote. They think there is no difference between Clinton and the GOP. IT'S LIKE THEY'VE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN THAT 2000 HAPPENED.
Has that really been the case with Bernie supporters you've encountered?
I haven't seen or heard from anyone in my social media circle that has said Bernie or Republican crazy.
There is a difference between Bernie supporters and Berners/Bernie Bros. There are some awesome supporters out there. The bros are crazy and if you haven't seen ANY of this, you haven't been paying attention. They may not be on your facebook, but they are EVERYWHERE. And it has been posted about on here multiple times.
I mean. There has never ever been a scenario where a man running for president is "friends with" the campaign chair. Nope never. Ever. But somehow how it's a big freakinf scary deal when two women are in the same situation. It's a vagina conspiracy!!!!!
NGP seems to be denying this happened how it is being reported. But man if those sanders staffers saved files they are huge idiots and were very wrong.
TL;DR: "Don't blame me, the chick was asleep and my dick just fell right into her."
Also my biggest writing pet peeve is the use of the words Firstly, Secondly, etc. THOSE ARE NOT WORDS. It's First, Second, etc.
I swear that when he read it on camera he threw in a couple more "grassroots campaign that millions of you have donated to" comments. It felt very Ignore-the-politician-behind-the-curtain-Bernie-is-still-an-outsider-and-grassroots.

Neither have I. And I know a whole lot of Bernie fans. But, they certainly don't fit the type that is discussed here.

Apologies if this has been covered, but I kind of don't get why this is a big deal? First, they didn't hack into it, it was mistakenly made available. Second, why is it a problem if it is known that some people are Hillary supporters? I wouldn't care if Hillary's camp knew I am a Bernie supporter. In fact, maybe it would make it better for her campaign to understand how to better reach voters like me, especially since she is likely to be the candidate.
So I asked DH. HE said hillary has more money and probably more sophisticated targeting than bernie. So Bernie can take that data and look at soft hillary voters and spend money focusing on them as an example. So it is kind of like he is getting all the answers without the effort.

It was essentially millions of dollars of research that the Clinton campaign gathered. info like who is solidly in her camp and who could switch. This is incrediably important info for Bernie. They now know who to target and who not to target. And they didn't spend millions of dollars getting this info. It's bad.
We also need to call bullshit on this whole idea that "we tried to tell the DNC months ago" about the glitch. Even if this is true, a smart campaign would make sure every applicable staffer was informed and made aware that their usage could be tracked, and therefore they should tread VERY lightly to avoid the possibility of torching their own campaign.

This story is fascinating, and that politico article is indeed damning as stated above. And not surprising - Bernie is a politician just like everyone else.
It's interesting to me that I've seen a lot of "Hillary gets all the media coverage so it's unfair anyway!" and "Hillary shouldn't be calling for an investigation, she should be putting this behind her!" type of stuff on FB. I'm paraphrasing blog links and miscellaneous comments I've seen, but that's the vibe, so far.

It's also stealing the millions of hours volunteers have spent making calls and canvassing for Hillary. The information they gather in battle ground states is invaluable. The first Clinton office opened in Las Vegas in July and now they have several more, Bernie opened his only office in November.

First- if you leave your door unlocked does that make it okay for someone to just walk in and rummage through your stuff? No. Sanders campaign new they weren't supposed to be able to access that info and spent forty minutes rooting around in it and then claim they were TOTALLY just about to report the breach.
Second- this is hours of work and data gathered by Hillary's team. If you leave your homework on your desk, is it okay for someone to just copy it rather than do the work themselves?
