Just wanted to let you all know that this thread has resulted in another Ham fan. I listened to the whole soundtrack on Spotify Monday night and can't stop singing it. I will be dutifully entering the online lottery when I'm in New York in a couple weeks. Thanks to whoever posted the annotated lyrics!
Does your favorite Hamilton song change by the day like mine? Today I'm all about Room Where it Happens, mainly because I am in awe of Leslie Odom, Jr.'s range. Love that guy!

This one and Wait For It are my favorite of the more traditionally sung songs. I don't know if I could pick my favorite hip hop number!

It changes up a lot and i wish i knew how to "make" some of the stream of consciousness mash ups that go along in my head into real songs. I had a helpless mixed with guns and ships for a few days that was pretty interesting.
And can we talk about Burn? I can feel the love hate in the you you yooouuuu line so much it gives me chills.

I love that one.
I get stuck on random lines and have to listen to that song over and over. Right now, I have "take the bullets out your gun, what, the bullets out your gun, what, we move under cover and we move as one" stuck in my head and I am convinced its the greatest line in the play (I know, such a random one, lol.)
so I keep listening to Yorktown over and over again.
Yorktown is supposed to be amazing on stage.
If i need a hamil-hit during the day i go: guns and ships, yorktown, cabinet 1, cabinet 2, washington on your side and then satisifed.
I also like angelica's "i'm not here for you." Like fuck you A. Ham.
Also also.... "you punched the bursar" gets a groan everytime. I really hope Burr looks at the audience with the sassy "get it?" I have it my head. When i first listened to it, l LOLed and buckled up for the rest of the ride.

I like Angelica's "God I hope you're satisfied". She sounds so pissed off there, it's awesome.
I also like TJ "because i'm the president" toward the end. Ok...i will stop now.

I celebrate pretty much every phrase/word/sound Daveed Diggs utters on the soundtrack LOL.
We are going to see it in June and I'm trying to decide whether or not to convince SO to hang out at the stage door afterward so I can meet him. I wouldn't even know what to say though, lol.

I'm going in July and I'm 100% doing this.
All I want is the selfie of my life. lol
I get nervous just thinking about it!! I have this fantasy where we are in the area for lunch or something and happen to see some of the cast members and have lunch with them. Yes, I'm crazy.
My favorites are Hercules Mulligan and Lafayette. And I die at the King George songs. I am focused on the wrong people apparently. Ha.
But my absolute favorite line is "we're reliable with the....ladies"
Andplusalso, this is a fantastic soundtrack to work out to. Makes running on the treadmill bearable.
Dh knows "there are so many to deflower" and is very proud of himself

I feel like my woman card needs to be taken away because I love this song so much. It is also how I love "Girls" by the Beastie Boys even though it is like the biggest anti-woman anthem. Something is wrong with me. SMH
I love so many of the songs. I mean, the whole thing is insanely good start to finish.
I love "Guns and Ships," "Yorktown," "Wait for It," and my god, the Cabinet Battles. C can totally pop out with "GODDAMNED MIND!" It's like her favorite part. She also like, "My...Shot!"
My least favorite song is definitely "What'd I Miss?" I mean, it's still better than most things, but for some reason, I just really don't care for it.
I just love the thought of Thomas Jefferson (who I will always envision as DD in purple because whatever) strolling in being all suave and oblivious like, "oh hey guys I've been in France what's been going on 'round these parts?" Cracks me up every time.

I don't even understand how NOT going to the stage door is an option.

And YOU KNOW that is exactly what he did in real life too.
Today was the first day season ticket holders at our theater to upgrade seats. The Hamilton effect is already apparent (it's coming next season), because there was nowhere to upgrade to. There were very, very few available seats at all.
Okay, I moved from row NN to row T but damnit there were better seats available but I couldn't click them and the other seats I wanted, I lost and I didn't have time to check other dates because I started panicking and having flashbacks of not getting Radiohead tickets a few weeks ago and the stupid phone line is busy and I can't make any more adjustments, so now I want to run down the hallway screaming.
