I'm so proud of myself, I'm doing really well on my no buy. The rules for myself are NO EYESHADOW (I have a bit of a palette problem) and only buying to replace something when I am really, truly out of it. I have a bad habit of getting bored halfway through and buying something new, then I end up with all these half used items that were perfectly fine and I never go back to them.

I had a Wet and Wild eyeshadow trio in my hand the other day, only cost $2.99. And I talked myself out of it! I started the no buy partially to save money and partly because I just have so many palettes and items that I never even use so I was really proud that, even though it was so cheap, I recognized that I didn't need it and put it back.

I am almost out of my Fit Me foundation now and need to decide if I want to stick with it or try something new...decisions decisions!

I'm thinking about concocting my own ginseng serum. They're all so damn expensive, but the supplement capsules aren't too bad. I'll report back if I manage to find a good recipe.

Y'all, I had an event last night and one of the other girls there asked me if I'd paid someone and gotten my makeup done. I was seriously so excited about that compliment:-)

Does anyone have the Tarte swamp queen palette? I'm tempted to grab it during their sale this week.

i got an email from tarte to start their friends and family sale early - code FESTIVAL for 30%.

AND the rainforest of the sea eye volume two shadow palette was marked down to 25 bucks - bringing it to 17.50 with the discount. i also got the new make believe in yourself palette and the volume two of the rainforest of the sea highlighting palette. add a glitter liner in silver for 8 bucks and everything was just under 90. not bad.

I do.  I really like it.  The colors are nice. I haven't used it for a while and this post reminded me to put it back into rotation.

I also got those same two palettes and a lipstick /Lipgloss duo that ended up being about $8 after the discount.  The palettes look so pretty!

The participation just dwindled b/c, well life. I know I started working from home more and not wearing makeup as much on those days.

It was mentioned in the 21 Days of Beauty thread, but Ulta just emailed out a coupon for a free (mini) Nars the Multiple stick in Orgasm with any purchase.

I've been wanting to try it forever, so I'll definitely be popping in some time this week :-)

I wanted to start posting makeup looks but the constant cystic acne flareups on my chin makes me feel really self-conscious. It's so embarrassing. It seems like as soon as it starts clearing up, flare-ups will start in another area.

I just grabbed the naturals one. I loved the hello toothpaste that was in one that I purchased last summer and I have never been able to find it in store.

Tarte has 30% online so of course I had to buy the Tarte Pro Palette and a new lipstick from their Rainforest of the Sea line.

Admire my restraint* - I haven't bought anything from the Tarte sale AND I haven't ordered either Target Beauty Box!

*The only reason I haven't gotten the Target box is because I am getting my FFF box today and don't need any more samples of... anything. I have a full cart at Tarte that may get the better of me yet tonight.

Ugh, I took advantage of the Tarte sale and picked up the Skin Twinkle lighting palette and a bunch of Rainforest of the Sea travel stuff.

And I bought the Bite Beauty lip set and more Truth Serum for Sephora.

I've been trying to keep myself on an eyeshadow ban but the Tarte sale and birthday wine got the better of me and I ordered the Make Believe in Yourself palette and a replacement eyelash curler. I'm a bit scared of colored eyeshadow but the colors in that palette might be good for my newer low effort style.

Oh, that was a good call, I think most of those shadows would make a great one color look on you.

Thank you! I'm a bit scared of colors but most of them are soft enough to work for my lower work, give less fucks/have more fun look I've been cultivating this year.

I have it. I like ~half of it. Several of the shadows are kind of duds (to me) and just don't seem like a great formula or color payoff once on.
